We replaced our old Inglis Dishwasher, which served us for 31 years, with this Bosch model. What a difference the years of technology have made. If the controls did not show it was running we would not even konw it was on! The third rack is a wonderful addition to put all those awkward utensils that just don't fit in your standard dishwasher. The utensil holders in the main area are fully movable or removable as you need. The dishes come out lovely and sparkling clean! I am so happy my son in law helped me find this beauty. Our family is delighted with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bill678 from Fantastic dishwasher Extremely happy with this Bosch 24 Inch Recessed Handle Dishwasher in Black SHEM63W56N we got two months ago. It’s extremely quiet and does a fantastic job no matter what load we put in it. We didn’t think we’d like the silverware tray but now absolutely love it. The only thing we don’t like about this model is there is an on/off switch, and when you run the dishwasher it stays on indefinitely until you turn it off with the switch. Also, if you buy ANY Bosch built in dishwasher make sure you also order the electric junction box adapter as it doesn’t come with the unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marsha from Review: More Time To Relax with my New Bosch! This is my 2nd Bosch dishwasher, bought due to the highly respected name in dishwashers. I love the 3rd rack! I used to do larger utensils, such as spatulas, carving knives by hand. Now this 3rd rack cleans them for us! The whole dishwasher seems to hold more dishes, (so less hand washing when we have a big dinner). Love the adjustable top rack, so more dishes can fit in with different sizes. The drying is fantastic with the increased temperature in the final rinse. Overall, thrilled with my new dishwasher purchased one month ago!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Victor from Some Issues I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have some problems. First the dishes do not dry, even when selecting the Extra Dry option. Next, the front face panel bends or protrudes out slightly at the top and middle, just under the control panel. Seems like this should be fasten tight--water and gunk can get in here. I've attached a picture...

Excellent quality product with a price tag that doesn't make you feel overstretched in the current financial climate. Top cutlery rack turns out to be very helpful but with the 3rd rack, it takes a little getting used to how to load without items hitting the racks above. Great capacity especially having the top rack for cutlery. Very happy with our purchase so far! Requires rinse aid more frequently than our previous dish washer but small price to pay really.

I have to pull dishes out to hand was as it seems the weight flexes the rack which takes it off the track. It is irritating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandra from Bosch is the BEST!! Purchased this dishwasher to replace my 10-year old Bosch that died. This new Bosch is super spacious inside (larger than the older model) and super quiet. Even quieter than my old model. Plus it has a handy top utensil tray. Love it!
