Rated 2 out of 5 by susie5 from Unfortunately, a Disappointment I bought this model because it seemed like a simple, dependable refrigerator that would be easy to use as I get older and less able to reach things too high or too low. After only 6 weeks the seal started detaching from the freezer door and icicles are forming in the freezer. I'm having a hard time getting one of the few authorized repairman to come look at it, and I live in a decent size city. Also, it seems the ice cream is either so hard I can't scoop it, or it's like soft serve - very inconsistent. And, the wire shelves are not sturdy enough causing some things to fall over, including a pitcher of juice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by inslady from NOT THE BEST refrigerator I bought this a month ago when my old one quit. This one was the cheapest price I could find with the size that fit my kitchen. I wish I had looked at it further before I bought it. It is nothing like the picture; only has 3 shelves and 2 of those are the wire kind so that you cant set anything on it that doesn't have a flat bottom. It doesn't even have a drawer in it for lunch meats/cheeses; I had to use the old one from my old refrigerator. If I had to do it over again, I would look harder. It does well with keeping things cold and the freezer works well. It is kinda loud---it sounds like an air compressor when it comes on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mfp41685 from Worse than the 20 year old model it replaced! Temperature fluctuations on this unit are absolutely insane. Freezer goes from -20 to +30. The fridge goes from +29 to +41 with regularity. Can’t keep the fridge and freezer the appropriate temperature at the same time. There is ice forming on the roof of the fridge, and have just noticed frost buildup on the area where a light cover should be at the back of the fridge. This item replaced a decades old Kenmore unit that had the same problems, except to a much lesser degree and had glass shelves. Apparently I should have kept that as this unit appears to be junk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by moonk9 from a little dissapointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer is extremely slow dropping temperature back down to "0" when i put in 1/2 gallon container of water to freeze ( to make an ice block for large water container on my job) after 3 hours and i still have about 3/4 liquid. (never had this problem before) The other thing is (this came as no surprise, because i knew it when i bought it) but because of recess underneath for the coils (as opposed to back coils) it cuts down the size of my storage drawers. I really miss that extra drawer space. This was an emergency purchase, and i coudn't find one with back coils.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Big Fish from Get What You Pay For [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was purchased by my company to replace a very old side-by-side that passed away. We were looking for an inexpensive replacement. This Frigidaire suits our purposes. It is one of the smaller refrigerator but is adequate for our office needs. Easy to operate, works well, delivered promptly. This refrigerator has plastic wire shelves that allow small items to fall through - we would have preferred solid glass shelves. Another issue is the door shelves - there is quite a gap - so, small items (i.e. horseradish jar) can fall out. Overall, we are happy with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elainayaya from Basic and Reliable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge when our fancy 2 year old fridge broke. I have 3 young boys so the wait time for a repairman was not sustainable. We got this bad boy same day from a local home improvement store. It stores surprisingly all of our food and was our stand-by for when our ‘fancy’ fridge broke AGAIN a month later and had to be completely rebuilt. Gotta make your own ice with this one, but that means there are less parts to break. For the price, this is an excellent choice! Our fancy fridge is back working again, but we keep this one in reserve. It’s currently our patio fridge/ overflow fridge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Algis from Warm refrigerator and too cold freezer. Never stop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator never really got cold. I bought two thermometers to check fridge and freezer. Fridge was 55 degrees and freezer was minus 30. Thirty days after i bought the fridge I called for service. Tech came out and said thermostat was faulty and ordered a another one. A week later he came out and installed the thermostat. That did not help. Fridge went up 60 degrees. I called again and and a new tech came out the same day and diagnosed the power wire to the thermostat was not pushed in enough at the factory. He pushed it in and the fridge works great thanks to the Electrolux technician
