Now, me I don't know how to use gas (was scared to death of it) and didn't have a clue I figured I would burn everything and I didn't know how to get the burners on... After he showed me that I had to ignite them first it was a breeze. Oh I am a lover of gas stoves right now! I did more cooking there for the month than I do at home for the whole year! The burner is instant on/instant off, the oven preheats quicker than my electric stove and the heat is more consistent which makes a big difference in my baking. This is also a beautiful stove and looks great in his kitchen.

We have enjoyed the fast ignition and fine burner control of the flame. Our old range had a broiler on the bottom that we did not use. Now we have a BROILER! The digital temperature of the oven controls allows to know exactly what the temp is for cooking. We also like the level grate to slide pots across. Easy to clean the surface. We are soooo excited for every meal we prepare on the range. In fact this weekend...we are cooking a turkey in the oven...its not Thanksgiving. Love it, Love it...thanks Frigidaire.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sinisa from Looks good. Some minor design flaws Purchased last week. Overall happy with purchase. Looks great. Really like the slide in look without back splash. Much easier to move pots and pans around on continuous top grates. There are some basic design flaws that I would like point out: - Oven grills are super thin and flimsy. Seems like for the money they could have been better built. - No stop on oven grills so that they come out when pulling things out of oven. This is really a crazy oversight. - Can't really get any of the burners to go to super low simmer. Is there a way to adjust this? So that is my experience with this product. I hope it lasts a while. Time will tell.

There was an issue with the pilot ignition that need to be repaired as the pilot would have a delayed ignition when the oven was turned on that gave boom sound. Also there was an issue with the fan. the fan is extremely loud and gets louder as the oven gets hotter. The pilot has been fixed however after changing the fan out, it still is not fixed. The fan is also in a plastic housing, which does not make sense. Apparently I have a "lemon". I do not recommend buying this range. I will make sure to NEVER EVER purchase Frigidaire again.

But it's almost an inch and a half DEEPER than my cutout. The range is in a peninsula between kitchen and breakfast room, so the cutout depth has a fixed maximum. But it was workable for the previous two slide-ins (non-Frigidaire) purchased over the last thirty years. Those earlier ranges stuck out into the kitchen about an inch and a half. The new Frigidaire sticks out three inches, and it's not physically possible to do anything about it. It never occurred to me, in shopping for a slide-in range, to check for the DEPTH of the range.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hrb 45 from Nice Range, But… [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well the burners work very well however the dots on the knobs that tell you which burner will light is a little confusing. Now the oven. In 3 different uses it don not cook properly. We finally called for warranty service and the technician is going to replace some parts due to the oven not being able to maintain the temperature accurately. Also as the oven is warming up I hear noises like metal expanding which I’ve never heard from any oven before. So the jury is out on this Range until repairs are completed and temperature regulation is working properly. I hope we didn’t get a lemon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old gas range that wasn't accurate in heating that came with the house we bought a year ago. This new gas range was a huge improvement since I am one that really cooks many different types of cusines. I love the low simmer setting. I like the grill arrangement and the 5 burners. I also like looks of the stovetop not having a raised back for controls . Another feature is it simplicity. The oven controls are easy to use and intuitive. The only slight negative is that the steel seems not as thick/sturdy as older ranges, it fells lighter weight. But that hasn't caused any problems.

Two things that stand out that could be better. The oven grates are very thin and do not have adequate Stopping when you pull on them. Could be an accident waiting to happen. The second is 5th burner. It is round rather than elongated. The top is stamped in that manner. Found that a bit deceptive. An elongated burner would support new pot designs. I wonder if that was an option when I ordered this item. The stove is well made. The knobs could have sturdier They are plastic but appear to be metal. Again a bit of smoke and mirrors
