Rated 3 out of 5 by from It came with the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set came with the house. I did not seek out this set and purchase. Like •button options (favorite options, delicate, sensory, etc.) •compacity ( king size comforters get very clean) •individual labeled places for everything ( detergent, softener, bleach) •easy to clean the inside and wipe down the outside •does its job in a timely fashion Dislike •when it starts, it will move the clothes around to adjust them and offset the whole machine. I have to readjust everything •when it bundles the clothes up, they have a hard time rinsing and wringing out. •chime sound is a little low when its done

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Washing Machine Cycles Need Customization Option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of machines came with my new home. I was thrilled to have a "Max Fill" option, but it is an option for only a few cycles, like Bulky & Heavy Duty. Many other cycles don't add enough water to cover the clothes! I just put in a medium load of new towels of a darker color, to be washed separately in cold water. I used the "Normal" cycle, which was a big mistake bc the water level did not cover even HALF of the towels. The machine apparently has no "sensing" mechanism for water level related to clothing level. (My last machine another brand DID.) This one seemed to lack a sensor that would tell it that there were several dry towels in 3 inches of water. I turned the power off and tried the "Bulky" cycle WITHOUT the "Max Fill" option, and when I went back to check on them, the washer had definitely "max filled" the tub, so that was a big waste of water! Manufacturers seem to program their machines to limit options that the owner would be able to better manage to ensure their clothes were getting the best treatment possible. I would LOVE to have a washing machine that would allow ME to select the cycle, wash time, water temperature, and water level. I can make better decisions about this than the machine because I know how many of what I put it in and I read the care instructions! Why not add one cycle ("Owner's Choice") that would allow owner-operators to tell it exactly how clothes should be treated?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from water level [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found a way to control the water level. I bought this washer a few days ago. I was disappointed that I didn't have control of the water level, the clothes just don't get wet enough, some stayed partially dry. I tried the max fill button which fills to the top, great but not for small loads. So then I selected max fill button and about half way full, I pushed that button off and after about a minute or so, the water stops filling. So now I can control the level but I need to be attentive to be sure to do it again on the rinse. Hope this helps others...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE If I could give it 0 stars I would! This was in our home when we purchased and didn't have a choice of appliances. Had I known what a POC this was, I would have had the builder remove them and purchased my own. This washer NEVER fills the tub to cover all of the clothing, therefore I feel my clothes do not get clean. After reading reviews on the "max fill", I'm afraid to use it because of flooding issues. The dryer NEVER dries the clothes on the first cycle....I ALWAYS have to run the dryer twice to get my clothes dry. What a waste of energy (mine and electricity). I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER FRIDGIDARE PRODUCT. Please save yourself a lot of headaches and stay away from this brand. GO LG!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ugh. I have endured this washing machine for five years, and I can't stand it anymore! When I finally had to get rid of my older washing machine, I researched and read reviews of several different brands, and I settled on this Frigidaire washing machine. Bad decision. If you like your clothes coming out of the wash as one big pile of wrinkles, buy this. (The fabric softener cup ends up being a goopy mess, so I don't even bother.) If you like your shorts coming out of the wash wrong-side-out, buy this. If you have plenty of water and don't have to worry about your water bill, buy this. (You will be using the Max Fill option quite often.) If you wear earplugs while at home, buy this. (It's pretty loud.) To Frigidaire: I like your products, but you failed on this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new home last month and this washer came with the purchase. It's a quiet washer and has lots of settings. I like the size of the slots where you put any liquid products for the wash. I use liquid softener and pod detergent. Unfortunately, I don't like the fact that after the wash there is still softener in the retainer. I'm wondering if the softener is dripped down or if it's rinsed out for use but there is still a lot of softener left over so it makes me think it doesn't get rinsed out. Aside from this, I have no other complaints of the washer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoying [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two things really bother me about this washer. It can't just fill. It will repeatedly jar and pressure test your entire plumbing system by abruptly cutting off hot or cold. Like BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM. The other issue is the mandatory initial back and forth spinning that immediately unbalances the load. Which means that every time you load it you have to hit pause right as it starts with water to redistribute the load. Just dumb.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this set one year ago. It seemed to have most of the features we needed. we were going from a Frigidaire front loader to this. This machine is just ok does not seen to do a good job cleaning, the fabric softener dispenser is problematic they have fixed it once but it still tends to clog up. The most annoying issue with this machine is you constantly have to reset it or power it up and down to make any changes to the settings. It's time consuming annoying. This just does not seem to be up to Frigidaire's standard of quality, it really kind of lack luster and not that great of a machine. Actually it's been a disappointing purchase. I have never been disappointed with a Frigidaire product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super clean clothes! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted (needed) a new washer for quite a while, so I'm super excited about this machine. I was a little confused about it at first. The way the machine starts its agitation before the water is filled confused me. When the dryer was delivered the next week, I asked one of the delivery guys if he knew anything about the washer and this question I had. He said that was the way this brand worked, so I wasn't worried. We've been using the machine without problems. I am thrilled by how soft and clean the laundry is now. I don't expect my new clothes will look old after a couple of washes ever again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My wife LOVES this! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Maytag front loader for 5 or 6 years and my wife was never happy with how it cleaned and the mildew build up that would happen. This washer had all the features she wanted (high water, real agitator, cold water setting) and she's been amazed at how clean our clothes have become. No joke, she stopped me in the hallway and had me feel a shirt. Now, I cannot say I could really 'feel' anything but it definitely was clean and smelled great. This model was recommended by our appliance repair man (he bought it for his mom) and I trust him. We're VERY happy with this washer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking water and oil! Bought the washing machine on 9.10.18. This evening on 10.17.18, my laundry room and utility room were soaked in water! My husband had to get our shop vac and many towels to clean the mess. We even had to tear up our vinyl tiles since there was water beneath them. My husband ran a test load to see what the issue was, the water is leaking from under the washer and there is also oil. I have to call for service in the morning since they are closed. I’m very disappointed, I have Frigidaire appliances in kitchen and they seem to be a good product. Not sure if Electrolux/Fridgidare can make this right? I need a good reliable washing machine. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy! I have had this washer for a few months and I am so disappointed. I didn't know not to use the fabric despencer! Had a clog and after a mess of trying to figure out how to get it unclogged and not using it it would still fill wth water. I used both hands and a tiny brush and finely fixed it will never use the despencer again! Today a screw fell out of a pocket ( I must of missed ) I ck all pockets..now the screw is under the agitator ! I have googled an can't find how to remove the darn thing to retrieve the screw! I am so irritated. I don't want to run the washer til I fix this new problem. I would love to have my old washer back it was old school and I couldn't get parts for it anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spin problems It must have a design flaw. We carefully place the clothes in evenly. By the time the opening 12- 15 agitations are done the clothes are all bunched up on one side of the basket. We open it, rearrange to make even again. After washing and it starts to rinse, it starts to bang because it is off balance. Once again we open, rearrange clothes. After rinsing the spin cycle starts and once again it starts banging because it is off balance. We are afraid it will not last very long because of the wear and tear on the parts when trying to spin while off balance. Short of trading it in for another model we are very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shocking for the elderly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently both my washer and dryer went out. Of course I’m used to all of the old turn the dial kind of machines. We found this Frigidaire washer with a more modern look feel and action. At first I was like take it back I don’t know what I was thinking. But after getting used to it and it having its features such as sensing the water level and not so many buttons to push I am in love with it. Washing is so much easier now. I don’t have to go run and look how much water to add I love the glass top. I see the laundry and see that the water is just perfect no more wasting water. Love this set I even bought the dryer and found I love it. Never had a Frigidaire but I’m sold on it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flipped the breaker We have all frigidare products in our brand new home. All are preforming just fine EXCEPT the washer. Very disappointed in the quality of wiring the machine together correctly. We have had an electrician come out three times (3) and even replace the breaker box. Never failed to flip once a week (granted, we was 2-3 times weekly) but there is a breaker flip 1-2 times a week. Customer care is open only Monday-Friday so people that work weekly and have 10 million things going on seems to never make that break to catch them durning the open hours (Saturday would be nice to have someone assist)!! This will be our first and last purchase with this company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good features I have had the chance to really use the washer for over a month. I like the features it has. There are just a few things that I do not like. Water is always left in the fabric softener compartment after every wash. Had a repair man come out and look at it and he told me that I needed to either empty after every wash or take a towel and sock it up. What the heck???? Also, washer is VERY LOUD during spin cycle!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I just bought the washer and dryer set I am not at all happy with the washer, water levels are crazy sometimes is fills up right and other times it barely fills, and the agitator barley moves it don't even go around it just goes back and fourth a turtle moves faster than the agitator I have never been so frustrated with a washer as I am with this one I spent two day trying different cycles to find one that would work, and the washer never filled the same cycle like it did the first time wish I had never gotten this washer. Hope I can exchange it for a different one. Very unhappy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in less than 3 years This model came with our house build. We have had to call a service tech twice in less than three years. This second time, the clutch went out which is a special order (i.e. could take weeks to arrive) expensive part. After doing the math, it makes more sense to buy a new one than to get the part replaced. The unit worked OK when in service but just not reliable. The first breakdown occurred two weeks after our warranty expired and this latest break down is less than 3 years. Not a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 star product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I purchased a house about 6 weeks ago and had to buy a new washer/dryer when we moved in. We picked this set because of it's features and price. We made a great choice, the washer is very quiet and has plenty of options for filling and agitating. My wife loves the fabric softener and detergent wells and the clear lid to see in while it cycles is a really cool feature I had no idea I would like so much. The dryer we bought is gas and is huge. We were able to wash and dry all the blankets on our bed in one load, before it took 2 or 3 to do the same job. Really great product. Would for sure buy again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great washing machine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer about a month ago. It does a super job at cleaning clothes. I was used to a machine that filled completely with water, so it was really hard for me to believe that clothes could be cleaned in so little water. My granddaughter was visiting us and after playing outside, her coat was extremely dirty. I put it in the washer with a load of play clothes before I went to bed. I was amazed when I took it out of the washer the next morning. I could not believe how clean the coat was. I have no reservations in recommending this washer. I am very pleased with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing in action I was looking for a simple no non sense washing machine. I had a front loader and it didn't really wash our laundry very well so we decided to replace with a top load when it stopped working and was too expensive to fix. What happened to the old style machines. This particular model redistributes the laundry at the beginning of the cycle and puts it off balance so when it drains the water and tries to spin it goes off balance and stops working. It is not capable of washing one set of bed sheets, i have to redistribute the laundry to get it started again. Very disappointing. What is the point in having a large drum when you can not add more then a regular or smallish load.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not enough water I need more than approx. 6 inches of water to adequately wash a "normal" load of sheets & towels for our family of 2. The only use I have for a "Normal" wash is for my husbands handkerchiefs (I always wash them separately). I am using the Max fill for all of my other washing needs. I am very unhappy with my purchase. I'd love to donate this machine to someone but I'd feel very sorry for anyone who has to use this machine to take care of the washing needs of a family. I agree with all of the other complaints of a previous reviewer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not satisfied with the machine. When the hot water hose is filling the tub it vibrates and makes a loud banging noise. The repair man will be at my home today for the third time to try to correct the issue And during the rinse cycle there is a banging noise that Can be heard from the basement to my den with the basement door closed. One good point is that I can wash my queen comforter in the machine because the tub is big. I would love to return it and get my money back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Junk The builder supplied the appliances in our new home, and unfortunately chose Frigidaire. These appliances are the worst I've ever encountered. They are cheaply made and don't work properly. We've had problems with every one of them - Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Washer, and Dryer. I will not recommend that anyone buy your brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT say yes to this Washer. I have had a series of washers and this is the worst ever. I have lived in the house for a week. It took an entire 8 hours to wash ONE load and now I am waiting for a service technician to come tomorrow. The clothes are annihilated after being pulled around the agitator into a tight vertical cylinder looking sculpture. I could barely pull the clothes loose and they were wrinkled, nearly unrecognizable pieces of cloth. Meanwhile, the washer when it isn't blinking an error starts over, creates more error messages and when finally finished I have spent several trips in the laundry room to Un-Error the washer. Please help me to find a solution. I cannot live with this washer unless I never need to wash clothes again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from modernization [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to replace a standard agitator washer that has run its course. The Frigidaire model noted has a smaller footprint but is a little taller (take that into account if shelf or cabinet above the washer). It is much quieter than the classic agitator model it replaced especially on the spin cycles. The one issue is the fabic softener dispenser. If I put more than a 1/4 of a capful in there it will not rinse out and keeps building up eventually causing a viscous goo that clogs up the exit hole on the dispensor. Use a 1/4 cap it seems to like that better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need to wash clothes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with this washing machine as soon as it was delivered. From the team the delivered it to the actual machine. Amazing machine. Looks and washes like a high end machine but a great value. I highly recommend this machine with matching dryer. I am loving them both. No complaints and am actively impressed with the quality of washes. I’m so not listen to the negative reviews. I am sure defects can happen. But if your machine is not defected then it will do everything as advertised. I am sure customer service would take care of any defects You will know right away if there’s a problem. Mine is amazing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Brand I brought this washer 8 months ago and the motor went out. I have been waiting 2 months for a repair!! I haven't even been offered a new washer. This is horrible. I will never buy a Frigidare product again. I will make sure to tell friends and family about this brand!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk We bought this washing machine last year. It's junk, it's crap. It begins with the agitator wadding the clothes into a ball with up to half the tub not having clothes on it. You then have to pause it once the water starts filling to spread the clothes back out. It almost never fills enough water before it starts washing, so you have to completely turn it off and start over. It's probably the poorest excuse for a washing machine I've ever seen.
