But my old microwave had died and it was time for a new one. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a desirable brand as Frigidaire available and ready to be delivered. Now that it's installed, and I see all the wonderful new features, I'm sorry I didn't replace my old one sooner. This microwave not only cooks faster but it also has many more features than the one I replaced. My new microwave is so roomy, has many features that I enjoy using and is very easy to clean..

The double ovens are Frigidaire so we compared Frigidaire microwave ratings and reviews against other brands. We selected Frigidaire and couldn’t be more pleased. Aesthetically, this sleek stainless steel built-in fits perfectly and looks great with the other appliances. Functionally, it does all of the things I need it to (melt/soften butter, reheating foods, cooking fresh veggies, etc) and there are other features we’ve yet to explore). Additionally, the unit was priced just right compared to similar units by other makers.

It was just an OK device and died in June and Sharp no longer made kits that would fit our cabinet. Our retailer strongly suggested Frigidaire and, luckily, their built in kit matched our space exactly. The microwave does everything we ask of it...and does it perfectly. Probably one of its best features is that it is almost silent when operating. Luckily they have a warning sound that alerts when the food is done and it gently repeats several times. All in all this is one fabulous microwave oven!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Drnp from Looks great, just seems a little underpowered [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for a Whirlpool that model that lasted only 7 years. I wanted a similar look but better quality so tried Frigidaire. It had to fit in my built in cabinet space so I bought this one which had the exact same dimensions and power as my old model. It fit perfectly and looks great. It also runs pretty quiet once placed in the cabinetry. The only small issue is that it seems to be a little less powerful than my old model even though the Wattage is the same. I find I find I have to leave food in a little longer than before. It’s a small thing though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by EricaL from Brand new. Could only use twice. After three weeks since delivery our product has been used twice before it completely died. We've only warmed up coco and made popcorn! This is a replacement microwave for the original that died after one year! Repair service doesn't have the part. Waiting on that. Meanwhile we've been 2 months without microwave use. This isn't a cheap microwave either. It's a built into cabinet mode. So frustrating. Repair cited quality control issue with newest one. Power cord connection to internal board completely shot. Warranty department sends out the worst workers. They act like they could care less. This has been a nightmare and has proven to me that I will never buy Frigidaire appliances again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bensmom from Easy to Use! Love how this one works, my old microwave which wasn't very old or broken, but I decided to replace it because it was a real pain to use. The old one had to many presets on it, this one I have the ability to set seconds without having to find the tiny button that was on the other one that then allowed you to set the seconds you want. The old one had a fan that ran for minutes after your food was ready, it made everyone think that it was still running and was very annoying and they were scared to put there hand in it. This one thankfully does not do that. It is quiet and works great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by annie19 from Good basic microwave Am writing this because there is one design flaw, the interior light is extremely dim. When the door is closed and the food is cooking it is impossible to see it clearly enough to prevent eg milk boiling over. I called in an approved technician thinking it was faulty and he confirmed it is not a fault but is designed this way. It has a built-in low-wattage incandescent bulb. Given the brightness and power economy of LED lights nowadays this is not an excusable situation. I would have returned the product except only this model fits the existing built-in space I have available.

It was quiet and powerful and looked great with the trim kit I purchased separately. It suddenly stopped heating. I contacted Frigidaire and they scheduled service through a third party vendor. The local vendor said it was the magnetron and they would order the part. It has now been just shy of two months and the part has not been received by the vendor. They tell me that Frigidaire shows that it is in 'dropped' status - and they cannot track it. When I attempt to contact Frigidaire, their automated message says it is unable to accept phone calls at this time. I am beyond frustrated.
