[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit last year July 2019 and the unit was broken since day 1. Jan 2020 we're still left with a broken unit after months and constantly contacting the Frigidaire and it's third party repair company. Now we're almost out of the warranty period, an EXPENSIVE microwave that NEVER WORKED in the first place. What a waste of hard earned money! Do your self a favor and buy something or another brand. Frigidaire customer care is terrible and doesn't care for its customers and doesn't stand by their product!! Not worth the time and the headache! Frigidaire, if your reading this, please contact me and make this right!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Batchelder from Died just outside of 1 year warranty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comments: Arcing observed from vents beneath the food compartment while heating food. Circuit breaker tripped. Burnt electrical smell emanated. Reset the circuit breaker, within 1 minute (not while heating food), circuit breaker tripped again. Repeated multiple times. Appliance Service tech said it was the electrical circuit. Electrician verified that the circuit works as expected. We verified by testing other appliances in the outlet. The unit won’t even turn on now. We purchased in January 2019, installed in May 2019 and received occupancy permit post-renovation in June 2019. Unit failed May 10 2020. Buyer beware.

The microwave looks great and works well. However, it is a nightmare to try and keep clean. With the burner at the top, it is impossible to get grime off the top of the microwave. Also I am short so I have to be a contortionist to get into the back of the microwave. Does the door easily come off of this unit as that would make it so much easier to clean. When setting the timer, you get one very weak beep when the timer expires, even when on the loudest setting. This is the same for the oven. I have had to purchase a separate timer as the built in one is worthless.

I wanted it to match with the new Twin Fridge and Freezer that I bought with the trim kit. Looks were the first thing that caught my eye. The microwave is sturdy with clean lines and the professional look I wanted in my kitchen, but I have to say that I have been shocked at how well the convection oven works. I have made homemade pizza, homemade biscuits, chicken, and a blueberry crisp. I am so happy with this microwave! It goes above and beyond the call of duty for a microwave.

Rated 1 out of 5 by blake74 from Similar experience as others - stopped working right at 2 years As others have noted here, it worked well for 2 years, then it stopped heating anything (microwave or convection) and the plate stopped spinning (clock, timer and fan all continue to work). Appears to be common for this unit. Disappointed that an expensive unit would fail so quickly, when much less expensive microwaves will work for a decade without issue.

Fridgidaire has agreed to replace the microwave . This will be the third microwave in 2 months. First microwave didn't turn on at all. Second microwave lasted 3 weeks. Was just informed today that the new microwave is scheduled to arrive july 16, 2021. Very disappointed with fridgidaire and the poor quality of appliances. How long is an acceptable amount of time to be with appliances that don't work? According to fridgidaire, 6 weeks.

We are glad she did. We love the unit for its looks and its many functions. Both the microwave and convection oven work great. Runs quite and cooks fast.

Rated 2 out of 5 by YardleyPA from Short of expectations [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of a microwave/oven combination and really was looking forward to this being the "crown jewel" to my other Frigidaire appliances in our recent kitchen remodel. A few months later and we're disappointed with this unit but very happy with our dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The first one we received was replaced as it wouldn't reach temperature, would intermittently shut off during preheat, etc. The second model is better but not great. The manual is over simplistic but there's a lot of ins and outs with this that you only learn through use. For instance you can't set oven to over 400 degrees. But you can preheat to over 400 degrees then when ready put your items in and set timer. We also find this very slow to warm up. And heating times are usually longer than recommended. Popcorn bags never fully pop (even after selecting correct volume). So I wonder is this second model also defective or is it just not a good appliance? And don't even get me started on keeping this clean. The interior doesn't clean up! I've tried, my husband has tried with not luck. The plate that was supplied will not ever get clean from stains, drips and spills. Why would Frigidaire design and not test the plate for ease of cleaning? And the outside controls are a fingerprint nightmare. I can see this being the first appliance we will replace in years to come.
