Love it, but...We purchased this (new) about six weeks ago as a set for our new home. The problem is that, since I used the convection oven one time, the microwave only works intermittently. I'm attaching a video. You put in the time desired for cooking, press 'start', and the light comes on but nothing happens. This is not counting down a timer; if it goes to zero, it just shuts off. But does not cook anything. The only way to get it out of this is to unplug the entire unit. Has anyone had this problem? We don't know what to do and don't even know how to search a solution as we're not sure what the problem is!

Broken (latch bracket) after 2 years[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This OTR Microwave was only being used as a simple microwave and was always difficult to open. This microwave broke down after 2 years of usage. As soon as the microwave is plugged into an electrcal outlet, it trips the circuit breaker. Upon diagnosis, we needed to replace the worn out latch bracket and added silicone dry lubricant to allow a smoother door opening. This professional grade and expensive microwave should not be broken just beyond the 1-year warranty period. I was very disappointed with this simple quality defect and would not recommend this OTR microwave.

Front panel stops working/ wire hook cuts wiresOriginal home owner purchased this microwave in 2017 (it has a 2016 model year. We bought the house in 2020 and very shortly after realized the front panel goes blank at times, looked a little harder and saw that the hook in the top corner to keep the wires safe as the door opens and closes was cutting through the wires!! Had a repair guy in to fix and it was working fine again until 4 months later. Now the touch screen stops working, it's still lit up and everything but I can't use it if I can't press start. Will be looking for a replacement to fit the space and after reading other reviews on this machine, I will start my search with other brands

RandyMI bought this microwave in the winter with all the other appliances. First refrigerator didn't work and I lost most of my food. The microwave has a panel next to the handle that was attached with double sided tape. it will not stay fixed. Bad design. I went to the dealer to show them and their display was the same. The dealer said they ask the Frigidaire rep about this and she said they had not had any complaints. I cant understand why the two I have seen both have the same problem and you are not aware of the issue. My unit is still not fixed and I'm disappointed with the quality for the price. I went back to Frigidaire because I had good service from my last set of appliances.

I do no recommend this![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first one in June of 2017 which lasted one year and was not repairable. Fortunately, it was replaced under warranty, but it took until August 2018 to get it installed. Now, after using microwave #2 for one year and 5 months it is also broken. I had purchased an extended warranty from my appliance store, so this one will also get repaired or replaced. I have a 2003 Frigidaire microwave in my basement which is still working fine, so either this newer design is flawed, the parts are of poor quality or both. Frigidaire does not believe there is an issue with this product, but I can't believe that I am that unlucky to get two bad ones.

Better than ExpectedI purchased this microwave about 4 months ago. I love the sleek design and it matches my other appliances. Since my oven started having issues, we have had to use the convection oven to bake. I'm so glad that the microwave has that feature.
It's pretty easy to operate and and after your food is done, there's a pleasant sounding beep at the end.
My only issue is the door handle is not sturdy. The hinges on the inside are already loose and it causes the door to be slightly lopsided. We called the repairman and he is stumped. Hopefully he will figure out how to repair it soon. Currently he's talking to the manufacture to get assistance.

Faulty WiringThis was a brand new microwave when we had our home built 4 1/2 years ago. We have been having trouble getting the unit to work for the past couple of months. Given that a large percentage of our neighborhood also had their microwaves go out, we figured we were dealing with the same issue even though we had the upgraded appliances and our neighbors all have a standard model. Upon inspection, we found that the wiring that runs from the microwave door into the top of the unit is not properly installed. The door actually rubs and pinches the wires. Over time, it appears that the door finally cut through the white protective sleeve and the wires, making the microwave useless.

No more Frigidaire products for me!I purchased this microwaver about 2 years ago, and like others have said, the display stops working, it stops heating, and today it finally died. Over the time I've had it, I've had to unplug it for a few hours before it works again. The cord that runs from the display through the door hinge of the microwave constantly caused the unit's display to blink or go out completely. Sometimes the microwave seemed to working since the turntable was moving and the inside lights were on, but it was not heating the food. This is the second Frigidaire professional series microwave I had, after the 1st one died after about two years. I was fooled twice by its good looks, but I won't be fooled by this brand again.
