Rated 1 out of 5 by Your fav laundry guy from the smart (not very smart) washing machine If you are used to selecting your own settings to wash your clothes you should probably forget about it. This washing machine attempts to figure out how much water you need by agitating the load without water first. Often, this causes the clothing to bunch up and trigger the E5 unlevel load setting and stop it altogether. I have had this happen 3 or 4 times on a load and you have to reset it each time. Then when it does decide to work, it often doesn't even get all the items wet during the 1st cycle. The only override is to put it on "Maxi Fill" but that only works on certain cycles. Oh and it leaks. I was impressed at first but this thing is a stinker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Extremelyunhappy from The worst washer ever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has been the west purchase ever. First the matching will move the clothing around till the point it's in balanced the refuse to proceed till you open the lid and moved the wet clothes around making you sit there while it fills littterally as slow as possible to make.sure it will continue to fill. If you choose to fill it with cold or tap temp water it will littterally fill for 10 seconds then stop for 10 seconds then do that over and over again taking forever to fill. I can belive I wasted my hard earned money on this set and I won't wast my money on another frigidaire product again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Caron8 from Not happy First let me say I love Frigidaire products and the company as a whole. What happened to this particular washing machine? I'm dumbfounded. Normal cycle is not enough water to cover a normal load (I'm 47 Years old I know what normal is) there is no water level sensor which is CRAZY so next wash I chose Max Fill, which is a total waste of water for a normal load. Bulky option is ninety minutes long. The agitator seems to just "swish" the clothes around with lackadaisical motion, which is probably why it cannot "grab" the clothes down to water level? There seems to be a lot of options to choose from but don't let that fool you in to believing this machine can do it all...it simply can't...

Rated 3 out of 5 by OMGthatGUY from It came with the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set came with the house. I did not seek out this set and purchase. Like •button options (favorite options, delicate, sensory, etc.) •compacity ( king size comforters get very clean) •individual labeled places for everything ( detergent, softener, bleach) •easy to clean the inside and wipe down the outside •does its job in a timely fashion Dislike •when it starts, it will move the clothes around to adjust them and offset the whole machine. I have to readjust everything •when it bundles the clothes up, they have a hard time rinsing and wringing out. •chime sound is a little low when its done

Rated 3 out of 5 by LAB112 from Washing Machine Cycles Need Customization Option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of machines came with my new home. I was thrilled to have a "Max Fill" option, but it is an option for only a few cycles, like Bulky & Heavy Duty. Many other cycles don't add enough water to cover the clothes! I just put in a medium load of new towels of a darker color, to be washed separately in cold water. I used the "Normal" cycle, which was a big mistake bc the water level did not cover even HALF of the towels. The machine apparently has no "sensing" mechanism for water level related to clothing level. (My last machine another brand DID.) This one seemed to lack a sensor that would tell it that there were several dry towels in 3 inches of water. I turned the power off and tried the "Bulky" cycle WITHOUT the "Max Fill" option, and when I went back to check on them, the washer had definitely "max filled" the tub, so that was a big waste of water! Manufacturers seem to program their machines to limit options that the owner would be able to better manage to ensure their clothes were getting the best treatment possible. I would LOVE to have a washing machine that would allow ME to select the cycle, wash time, water temperature, and water level. I can make better decisions about this than the machine because I know how many of what I put it in and I read the care instructions! Why not add one cycle ("Owner's Choice") that would allow owner-operators to tell it exactly how clothes should be treated?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sports Mother from Worst washer on Earth Do not spend a dime on this washer. Regulating the amount of water you need is basically an impossibility. Whomever designed this doesn’t wash clothes themselves, that’s very evident. I want to wash a mattress protector which is large and needs a sifficient amount of water to clean. This horrible machine “weighs” what’s in the drum and it decides a how much water you need. No option to Max Fill (add more water) for labeled cycles, like the Quick Wash for example. So I have to waste ample amounts of water and 65 minutes of my time because the only way to get a proper water level is run a different, much lengthier cycle. Idiotic machine, I absolutely hate this machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sherri2018 from water level [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found a way to control the water level. I bought this washer a few days ago. I was disappointed that I didn't have control of the water level, the clothes just don't get wet enough, some stayed partially dry. I tried the max fill button which fills to the top, great but not for small loads. So then I selected max fill button and about half way full, I pushed that button off and after about a minute or so, the water stops filling. So now I can control the level but I need to be attentive to be sure to do it again on the rinse. Hope this helps others...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Annie Brown from Nice size for my home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans clothes well. Although the top loader is difficult for short people to reach down into to remove clothes.
