DO NOT buy this washer
There are several design flaws with this washer. When the spin cycle is on, it is as loud as a Mack truck running through my house. The washer does not wash clothes clean. It can never wash dark clothes properly no matter what I do in accordance with the manual. There is always lots of lint or white residue on the dark clothes, even if I fill water to the top of the washer. It has been a sore point in the family. This piece of junk costs me lots of energy arguing with my wife. Buying this washer is the worst purchasing decision I ever made. Avoid this product if you want to maintain your family peace.

Should be taken off the market
The clothes are often in a wet heap in the bottom of the washer. The spinner is louder than my generator. It would be a huge problem to have this machine in an appartment or duplex. Your neighbour’s would complain about the noise. A technician advised me to only use the bulky or sheet/towel cycle with deep fill if I wanted my clothes spun dry. I am trying to get GE to take this piece of c…..machine back. Please don’t buy it. You will wate your money!

Bearings are failing in less than 5 years
Electronic mainboard has started to fail and the repairman says not worth fixing due loud noise is sign of bearings failing as well. It will cost more over the next year to repair it than to replace it!

Garbage
We bought this washer 4.5 years ago and it’s already broken. The repair will cost over a thousand dollars. That’s terrible. Garbage within five years. I Will be avoiding GE any time I can for the rest of my days and putting that in my will to ask my children and ancestors to forever avoid this company.

Don’t like that their is no agitator
Their is no agitator and you spread your clothes around the sides, then the machine does sensing, a while, but the clothes still goes to the middle and it is terrible to wash a quilt!
