Works great. Disappointed that even though the exterior is slightly larger than my last refrigerator, the interior is smaller. Putting a large round light that extends down one inch from the top. required moving the first shelf lower, leaving narrower spaces for the other shelves. The butter compartment does not hold three tubs of butter/Smart Balance/cream cheese like my other one did. The drawers do not hold as much as my previous refrigerator. If I had seen this refrigerator before we ordered it, I would not have purchased it. However, I like the temperature read-out and the controls on the outside door, the light for the water and ice dispenser and door open alarm.

Nice upgrade from my standard condo fridge!
I just got this fridge yesterday; it replaced my standard builder model condo sized fridge. It's a very nice upgrade for the space I have - lots of fresh space plus filtered water and ive dispenser in the door! However, if you require a lot of freezer space this may not be the model for you. It's fine for me, but if you like to make meals ahead and freeze and/or buy in bulk you will be disappointed in the freezer space. Outside of that, it's quiet, cooled down quickly and made ice sooner than expected. Well lit and the touch features on the water/ice dispenser are nice. I would buy again!!

Just what I was looking for!
I wanted the side by side and I needed this exact size with the water and ice in the door. I looked at others but the freezer side was to small. This capacity works well for what I need and the ice maker and the water dispenser work well too. You do have to get use the the way the ice comes out. At times it stops and then comes out quick and you should use a large mouth glass or cup and hold it up high so the ice doesn't go all over and onto the floor. The inside door shelves and the drawers are a nice fit. Have had this GE for about 6 months now and once you get use to it it's 5 stars.

It's a good thing it is not being made anymore!
I previously had a side-by-side refrigerator, but needed a smaller one. I purchased this with only seeing a picture on the computer as it was not in stock at the store, big mistake! It is about 3 inches less wide than my previous one. The freezer is too small, looks like they took the 3+ inches away all from the freezer. It makes all kinds of weird noises, constantly, all of which are explained in the manual. The ice/water dispenser is a joke. Doesn't stop when the glass is full, there is a very thin piece of plastic inside which does nothing. The refrigerator section is good, but that is about it. I'd return it if I could.

Exactly what I was looking for!
It is difficult to find a refrigerator to fit my 35" width space so I was pretty limited and found this to be the best 33" fridge out there. Others were to short but I will admit that the GE freezer space is small compared to the one I replaced. Has a nice size ice maker which was a deal maker for me. The ice/water dispenser works great! The drawers are not built as well as my last refrigerator, they do not glide, but you know the saying "they just don't make things like they used to". I am overall very satisfied with the fridge, my only wish is that my husband would wash his dirty hands before touching the handles as I am constantly cleaning them.

Love my GE appliances
My husband and I have moved a lot and have done a couple of kitchen renovations. We have purchased many GE appliances and have had good performance from all of them. This 33” wide refrigerator is no exception. We’re living in a condo that will not accommodate the 36” model, so we purchased this one to replace a smaller, top freezer model that was here when we bought the unit. This refrigerator serves our needs very well. There is plenty of shelf space on the fridge side and ample drawer space. Lighting is very good. I wish the freezer were a little larger, but such are the compromises of condo life. There is certainly more freezer space than the top freezer model that was here when we moved in. I have owned the 36” version (both GE &GE Profile) and I am just as pleased with this smaller model.

The sleepy giant
My husband and I purchased this refrigerator because the old one had bad seals on it due to 30 years old. We also put in a new water purifier system & wanted a new frig to run our good water through to the ice cubes and water in the door. This frig fits in the same spot the old one did, but this frig is deep & has so many inside storage trays that I feel that I can never fill it full enough to use all the space. i call it my sleeping giant because it is so quite, I keep asking my husband, is it running! Everything is so easy to wipe down and clean out, we just love it. The freezer is also excellent because it actually is doing its job and not leaving frost on my items.

Overall good refrigerator
I'm not a big fan of side by sides like this but due to space requirements this the product I bought. Ice works great in cubes. Crushed ice takes a little bit longer and messier. Hold the cup up close to dispenser to prevent some little pieces getting away from you. Water comes out ice cold which is great. Freezer could be bigger. Doesn't seem like a lot of room and sometimes it's hard to put groceries away with a large shopping trip. Looks great, quiet, very cold, and was not expensive compared to similar models.
