Great small washer with supper features
We really like the GE compact stackable washer which we purchased with the companion dryer.
The washer has very good capacity and senses the size then adjusts the water level and length of cycle. You can vary cycle settings to customize the cycle additionally. The only comment is that if the washer is even half full, the machine really vibrates on higher spin cycles. We use medium for towels and jeans and it works well to remove water without vibrating too much. Overall, this washer is a winner with excellent cleaning, cycle customization and a equally good companion dryer which is stackable. Great solution for a small space laundry.

Very happy with our choice
It is a little smaller than our previous washing machine. However we could not get a front load HE machine to fit into our space. It turns out we like it a lot and even doing more frequent load is a plus. We definitely save a lot of drying time. We used to wait for a full load for our bigger machine to be more efficient in water and electricity. My daughter especially likes the active wear cycle. Yes, the control panel is easy to use which is also a strong plus. It is pretty quiet and stable. We could hear some noises only at the final fast spin phase. It is much quieter than our older machine which could be unbalanced some of the time.

So Quiet
One great issue I had before purchasing a washer was it’s ability to be SILENT considering I live in an NYC apt building an was concerned about disturbing others. Besides all the amazing features this washer comes with for example steam wash and sanitize which are equally important during these times of pandemic, this machine is so quiet. Might be my most favorite feature of all!
Pros: easy set up. Set up, plug into and use. No stress, no hassle. Small and neat. I fit it into a closet and it’s a beauty. I really love it and haven’t regretted it. I wish I could get the dryer but the voltage isn’t compatible with the building :(

Has several extra features
The booklet that comes with this machine has many options that can be incorporated easily within seconds. Examples are: the spin cycle can be used alone for hand washed items; time and speed needed can also be adjusted. The machine can be temporally
stopped to add items. Water temp for wash and rinse can be adjusted, as well as spin speed. Very easy to add more spin time for items that need it. Washer is quiet.
The washer and dryer can be stacked, I chose not to, both tops of units are completely level making a great table to fold. I live in a townhouse with a special place for washer and dryer. Everything about this machine is beyond what I expected.

Perfect for a small condo
We picked up this washer/dryer pair to replace the old laundry tower that came with our condo unit. So far, it's working well. Cleans better than our old unit, and it's significantly quieter. Has a lot of nice options for washing and temp control. Took off a star because opening and cleaning the pump filter in the front is a pain and makes a big, watery mess. Seems like a terrible design there, but I don't think I've ever had a washer with a pump filter previously so don't have much to compare. Also, it doesn't seem to ingest fabric softener well. The couple times I used it, most of the softener was left in the tray, even after diluting it with water to help it go down easier.

Most frustrating washer I've ever owned
Since this washer was installed a month ago I've had nothing but trouble with it. It frequently doesn't drain with a "clear filter" signal and there is never anything in the filter below when I open it. It takes almost half a day to do a load of laundry because I have to turn it off, wait up to an hour for it to drain and then run it through a spin cycle and still the clothes are so damp that it takes about 2 hours to dry. Also, when it does work, it is so loud that it shakes the whole house. This is by far the worst washer I've had in over 30 years.

Problems Already
Bought the washer in June 2020 and already having to make a service call because the wash machine gives a "CAnCELEd" error before the cycle is over. And of course, these only come with a 1 year warranty. Ridiculous that I am spending money to fix a 1 1/2 year old appliance.

Worst washer due to loud vibrations
Had this washer almost one year and had technicians here 3 times for unbelievable vibration during spin cycle. It vibrates so hard that it moves bathroom cabinet in room 2-3" each spin cycle and the cabinet door vibrated off it's hinges! I feel I'm in a jet plane ready to take off. Just wanted a simple washer with no bells, bings, whistles and got a real headache with this one.
