Extremely LoudI had the misfortune of purchasing this refrigerator in June 2021 and it was the worst appliance purchase I've ever made. From the moment we plugged it in it ran loud and would not hold a consistent temperature. The refrigerator ran between 52 and 62 decibels. There is no way this can be construed as a normal or reasonable volume. After a few back and forths with the retailer I was able to return it for another company's product. This fridge does look nice but I would be very hesitant to purchase another GE product after this experience.

Nice, but lounder than my 30 year old fridgeThis replaced my 30 year old refrigerator. It's only been here for a few days, but when the compressor and fan are running, it's much louder than my old fridge. Maybe I'll get used to the increased noise level, but I thought a new fridge would be as quiet as an old one if not quieter. That's something you can't know until it's installed and turned on. So I'm disappointed with that. When the compressor and fan cycle off, it is dead silent.
Aside from the noise factor, this is a very nice refrigerator. I didn't want all the fancy stuff you can get on a refrigerator and this fits the bill. A basic unit big enough to hold my stuff and keep it cool. Hopefully, it will last a long time. I just wish I had the chance to listen to it before buying.

poor temperature uniformity, poor designItems near the back particularly near the top tend to freeze were as items in the door are near the safe temp fringe. It seems like the thermostats also has too wide of a swing range and I've been wondering if it doesn't stick on occasionally way past where it's suppose to. The crisper draws have no rollers and bound terribly until I silicone greased them though there was no suggestion to do so. You can't fully open the crisper drawer nearest the door hinge side unless you can open the door way past 90 degrees which I cannot.

Too NoisyThis is the same model, now for the third time, that I've had. The first two were so noisy they could be heard all the way into my bedroom, had to have the door closed. The first to also formed ice in the freezer which could be heard dropping loudly in the back. This one is not much better. All three ran and run constantly and make noise the entire time. I know of others who have the same model, and virtually all of them have the same complaints. Too bad, because GE is a top name brand, is usually known for quality.

Good Little FridgeHave had the fridge for 2 months. Very energy efficient. Good size freezer compared to overall size. Only downsides so far are that it is not as quiet as I had hoped that it would be. Also there are two plastic corner clips on the upper corners above the freezer that create an air gap in the freezer seal. These are merely cosmetic and were easily removed which solved the problem. I applied white electrical tape to restore the cosmetic look. Overall a very good fridge and I would recommend it.

Great features and size for the priceI bought this about 2 months ago as a second fridge for the garage to store beverages and extras that do not immediately need to be in the main fridge and freezer. It pretty quiet and very cold. I actually have it turned below recommended setting as I froze a couple beers in the back of the fridge! I like the see through crisper drawers and the shelf in the freezer, large door shelves that easily hold gallon containers of milk and juice, but designed well so that small items do not slip out through the gap between the shelf and the front panel. It's also energy star certified!

User-friendly refrigeratorExcellent basic refrigerator, quiet, energy saver, clear plastic drawers enable you to see food, large upper shelf for tall items, economical use of space, but roomy enough for everything, easy to clean. I'm glad to have it.

Beautiful, I love the size,I am so happy with my "GE* FRIDGE" it is the perfect size for my small apartment , and it's quiet, very neat and efficient inside. Keeps my food well and the freezer is self defrosting. I love it, Love it, love it.
