Rated 5 out of 5 by Yay! from NinJoke I had a Vitamix and didn't want to spend the money during COVID to replace it. I bought a Ninja product that was 4 times this price to hold me over and returned it after one use. It was so loud, so heavy and my smoothie went from frozen to liquid. You have to do a little more work, maybe stir a few times, but this blender made an amazing smoothie within minutes. The added benefit is when I replace my Vitamix, I will still use this blender. Wrap it up and it stores itself within it's blending container. I am so happy that I spent money on an addition to my kitchen instead of a temporary fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MP from Better than other brand I had Got this about 6 weeks ago and have while I have only used it a couple time can tell you from a product design it is worth the money. The othe one I owned had a design of being incased in plastic, and over time it cracked (not on the seam) and then the shaft got loose and fell apart. The metal design of the KitchenAid is much better because you can separate it from the motor and not risk getting water in the motor when cleaning. While the lower end is a bit awkward to detatch (just an odd hand hold/grip)I feel that having to really turn to loosen is actually making the entire piece more stable when using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MEL5869 from The range is attractive, functional, and easy to use. The range is not only attractive, it has the features most cooks would expect and more. The face plate (dial area) is placed conveniently for use, easy to clean, and of excellent quality. None of the dials are made of plastic, as is often the case with other brands I researched. The cook top grills cover the entire top, adding extra space to rest pots and pans in various stages of use (cooling and or warming). The oven size is adequate and will hold a good size turkey among other items in the very near future. I am thrilled with my purchase. Due to a scratch that occurred in delivey - I have experienced "customer service" services and couldn't be more plleased with their responsiveness. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimmyE123 from Couldn’t be easier! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will preface this review by saying I am a 50+ year old with the heart of a famous chef trapped in the lifestyle of a very busy person who doesn’t suffer useless gadgets well. That being said, I could not love this (ahem PINK) 2-speed blender any more if I tried. The motor runs smoothly on either speed while its long, mobile stick design allows you to freely whip all your contents into purées with a slight move of your hand (last nights squash w/leek soup) or to simply give your dishes a quick half-mix (smashed skin-on potatoes anyone?) The best part is how easy it is to clean. Simply detach the bottom from the base, rinse and move on. This smart design also means the blades will never touch the bottom of your best pans so it has completely eliminated the steps involved to move the ingredients from the pot to a stand mixer or blender then back again. The Kitchenaid stick blender has quickly earned its spot in my kitchen (did I mention it’s available in PINK?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathyabj from Kitchenaid 2 speed hand blender [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for myself for Christmas. Was looking for something to help me make a better, smoother gravy. Having arthritis it's getting more difficult to do many kitchen tasks. Although it hard for me to take this apart, I don't really ever need to if I don't use too deep of a container or pot for mixing. Also I didn't get any extra attachments. This is overall easy to use, and very easy to clean. Was able to add ingredients into a hot gravy, blend so well it was very smooth and no lumps. My grandson made delicious smoothies with different fresh fruits. Love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by pcfw from Easy to Use Easy to Clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and decided that I needed one also. I love the ease of use and even easier clean up. My husband likes his sauces smooth (particularly spaghetti sauce) and this makes it so easy to puree right in the pan. My first use was to whip up potatoes to make homemade gnocchi. Perfect and absolutely delicious (the first time I ever made them, thank you Kitchen Aid Blender)! It has a sleek appearance too. If I would change anything it would be to be able to turn it on and off rather than have to hold the button to keep it blending.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sel77 from Love the design look and its accessories... This product is great if you're looking for a basic hand blender and i love the fact that it came in a red colour which adds some excitement to my kitchen. The additional accessories are useful too. Overall, i am satisfied with its performance and blending capabilities. The only thing you have to be careful about is how the bottom "blending" part can sometimes become unhooked from the top hand-held part while in use, particularly if you're trying to maneuver with it a lot, which stops the hand blender... so you have to be careful to hold it with both hands (one on the bottom, one on the top)... hence it's make it hard to use the blender with just one hand as a result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Farm Gal from Works great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender to replace one that I had for several years. I bought it primarily for use in blending Apple Butter that I make in the crockpot. This blender can puree' the apples and skins right along with them until extremely smooth. Saves a lot of time peeling so much of the apples. I also like the fact that it has 2 speeds. Of course you just need to be careful to not lift the end of the blender above the surface. I have not tried the cup to make smoothies and such yet, but hope to soon. I chose the KitchenAid model since I own a KitchenAid mixer and know the quality is good and it was a good price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Guillermo the IVth from Works, but for how long? I keep looking for a stick hand blender that's solid state, and from the metal immersion portion on the bottom one would think the internals would be all metal as well. Instead once one separates the motor from the lower half, we find plastic fins that are part of the locking mechanism, and other internal plastics. How long before these strip out like my last two? This is a planned obsolescence made to fail. I don't relish having to buy yet another in a few years because of this design. Also, the provided cup's a rather thin plastic. Still, it does the job, and we liked the inclusion of a silicone lid for the cup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Emmy682 from Better than expected (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this on a lark when I was trying to be healthier, eat veggie soups, etc., but to be honest, I expected to use it once in a blue moon (because there was no way I was actually going to turn in to a person who makes homemade soups). Well I was pleasantly surprised - I did use it for soup and it was excellent, blending quickly and finely in no time at all! I’ve also since found it useful for whipping up marinades and drinks in the plastic cup that came with it. It makes quick work of fruits and vegetables and produced a very fine blend, much better than my big blender. I’m very happy with it. It’s easy to clean too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shake Maker from Quality Cop New Blender has balance issues. I have to rotate the blending arm to a position different that the alignment marks as designated on the blending arm. This vibration causes the liquid to spatter..., not good KitchenAid! I've ordered new blending arms for two of the blenders that have this concern. ALSO, the markings on the mixing cup are no longer laser etched (as shown in KitchenAid marketing photos). This makes reading the scale VERY difficult. Please update photos and advise me of your course of action.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jen29 from Disappointing Experience At All Levels I bought this a couple of weeks ago to make homemade tomato soup. Was very concerned when I did not find a pan guard with the product as it shows on the box and in the owner's manual. I was also kind of afraid to use it because I did not want to ruin my pot. When I contacted the Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid call center I was kept on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes, and then had to send a picture in of the blender, all to be told that this model does not come with a pan guard. Apparently, it is a "typo" that is on not only the packaging but in the owner's manual. I am very frustrated with this entire experience. If you know that there is a mistake on your packaging or your entire owner's manual is incorrect, please fix it before you make it available for the buying public. My confidence in this company is very shaken and makes me question my other Kitchen Aid products. Also, the time I wasted on the hold to speak to someone who offered no help was also very upsetting. I now doubt that I will ever purchase another one of your products and I was a very loyal customer who encouraged my friends and family members to buy your products. I will not do that anymore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Afg0608 from Easy to use and clean up [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the blender to make protein smoothies with less clean up than with my Ninja blender. I was a little concerned about the heavy power cord, but it’s necessary for the torque produced by the blender. It’s not a problem if you think about what it could topple and move those things out of the way. The unit is excellent in design, construction and ergonomics. Makes an excellent smoothie with frozen fruit, milk and whey protein. Unplug power cord, remove blending section, was and you’re done. The mixing cup works well for drinking, so no extra cup to clean. I am well satisfied the blender, and highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tkmancini from Broke 2 in 3 Months I purchased my first blender in May of 2018. A week after purchasing the blender, one of the metal pieces at the top of the blade portion broke off and there was only one metal piece left that helped propel the blade. My parents had purchased the same blender 2 months prior and were not using it so they gave it to me to replace the one that had broken. Within 2 weeks of receiving the blender from my parents, it unexpectedly shut off during blending and never turned back on. The blender was only used to make protein shakes with frozen fruit, protein power and milk. There was no difficult ingredients that would have caused 2 hand blenders to break in such a short period of time. Not a well made product and I do not recommend purchasing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CJ Strong from Defective item =( I bought this for my husband and was disappointed when I received it. The arm/attachment was fine but the base interior where the arm locks in was off centered which causes rubbing of the plastic as well as difficulty with assembly. I had to purchase a different model anyways so I'm not completely at a loss. I'm sure it's just a "one off" and I most likely wouldn't have the same problem if I purchased another one but it's still a waste of money in the end. My husband may still use it for other things but it will be staying attached so the plastic does not rub any further, making it impossible to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom of 3 from Fairly priced immersion blender I bought this after many many recommendations from friends. I've used it to blend up quick salad dressings and dips and it has worked really well for those. The clean up is very easy with a simple rinse of water and setting it aside to dry. I have also used it to puree whole tomatoes into sauce and carrots into soup. This takes a little longer that I had expected and I wish I had one more speed that could maybe do the job quicker, but, for the low price I paid and the beautiful design, I feel like it lives up to what it promises. I am looking forward to trying whipped cream and also squash soups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PMG_Mom_Life from My go to blending tool! I received this as a Christmas present form my husband, 3 years ago, because I complained about how bad a job our regular blender blended the pureed soup I was making. I hated having to blend small portions of a big batch of soup in the regular blender, and don't get me started on the MESS! Enter this beautiful little tool! Less mess. Less fuss. Blend in the pot I was cooking in with minimal dishes. It was also very handy for pureed baby food and smoothies. I reccomend it to all my friends and Facebook Mommy groups I am a part of. Saves so much space in the kitchen and is so versatile <3 The only thing that could make it better is if you can add/purchase different blending heads or a whisk to it. (Maybe it does and I just don't know about it)

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rose B from Customer service???? Where?.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the hand blender a week before Christmas. Thought a part was missing, which I have found out from other reviews was never there, and contacted Kitchenaid. I was supposed to hear something back in 24 hours. Still no contact. Bad customer service. When things are listed in instruction book and how to use....shouldn’t it be included or at least say “not included”. I always thought kitchenaid was a company that you could count on. Now my thoughts are hmmmmmm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rstroker76 from Better than the rest! I have gone through 5 hand blenders in the past 2 years. Right out of the box, there was always some little thing that wasn't quite right. Within 90 to 120 days, either the blender part or the motor failed in one way or the other. I had one that lasted about 2 weeks because it didn't survive one trip through the dishwasher (even though it was labled as dishwasher safe). This hand blender was 100% right out of the box and survived many trips through the dishwasher. It is easy to clean, disassemble/reassemble and it doesn't make what I blending/mixing go flying out the glass. Because it is so good, I have taken in on two vacations so I can keep my diet wherever I go. Ask me in a year if I'm still happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by avpriorlake from Hard to attach wand [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 5-yr old Kitchen Aid immersion blender, which was all metal, with this model. The connection area on the upper unit and the connection on the wand unit are now made with plastic and it is extremely difficult to click/twist them together until they lock. Usually I give up and use it without locking. Unlocking is just as difficult. The plastic is very slippery and you can't get a good grip on either end, even wearing rubber gloves.

I am left handed, it’s comfortable to hold and controls are placed just right for me. It does a great job at blending as well. Nice construction, lightweight but not Flemsy at all. Great purchase and I love all of my kitchenaid appliances.
