Rated 4 out of 5 by Newlywed from Fun colour, pesky button We got this as a gift for our wedding as I'd put it on our gift registry - I love all the fun colours it comes in, and I was thrilled to be able to finally easily blend soups together, as my other small blender just doesn't cut it. I liked being able to put it directly into my soup pot and blend it up, and not have to do it in batches. Assembly is easy, cleaning is pretty easy also. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to hold the button down to blend. If you have a lot to blend up, it can get uncomfortable to hold. Plus, if you have weak wrists like I do (And I'm not old) it gets hard to continuously blend without taking breaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsMIke921 from Great Product This does just what it should, I love it for a quick batch of whipped cream, eggs or other small things. It's easy to use and clean up, not overly loud for what it is. The base removes easily for clean up, or you can run it in a bowl of hot soapy water and it's done. The only thing I would recommend be done differently is I wish there was an added cover with a slot you could slide over from the side so that it covered almost all of the top of the jar while processing that would contain the little bit of splatter that you occasionally get. I do use my hand for that but I can't cover the whole opening. However I'll still give it 5 stars, I love mine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jrw327 from I didn’t know what I was missing until I had it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My bf got me this for Christmas. I had one from Walmart that I never had a problem with and it worked just fine. HA! I could immediately tell it was of good quality (the first clue was that it’s KitchenAid. I mean, come on.) The weight of the product alone shows its quality. I used it to make a butternut squash soup. The motor is so quiet that I can carry on a conversation while it’s running. Not something I could do with my old one. It made quick work of two squashes. The blades are razor shape, it cleans up easily, and I know I can rely on it. 10/10 plus another 10 for my boyfriend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Gadget Gal from My first fail with a Kitchen Aid product. I received the blender for Christmas and I was ecstatic! I had begun a new diet and I was making smoothies daily. Throughout February and most of March 2018, my blender seemed to function well enough; however, the blending arm had an electrical, burning odor. Last week, the blending arm stopped working. For 25 years, I've invested in, raved about, and gifted Kitchen Aid products. All of my appliances are Kitchen Aid and all of my family and friends know this. I have never had a Kitchen Aid appliance to fail so quickly and completely. If I had not experienced such quality products over the years, I might move on to another solution... to be continued. #hopeful

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grams22 from In Love [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for a Christmas gift, of course I suggested it. I have wanted one and since I own several KitchenAid products already, I was thrilled that they chose KitchenAid for this. I am using it daily, I use it for breakfast items and smoothies. I also use it to blend special detox drinks. Shakes are in the picture, just have not fixed those yet. I love that all my pieces on my counter are red, I just replaced my blue stand mixer with a larger red one. I still have my blue one, my children thought I needed to upgrade. I will pass my old blue friend to my son, he just purchased a home and he will put it to good use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by I'm the mama from Hand blender is fun and easy to use! I bought this blender on a whim. It was small enough to stay on the countertop, it was a gorgeous blue color and it's a KitchenAid product (big fan!!) so how could I go wrong?! I found it easy to use. I make smoothies mostly and the ingredients blend together so easily. My only complaint is that the blender tips over unless I stand it exactly right. The cord has remained very stiff from being boxed so it is awkwardly turning the blender around if I am not precise about standing it up on the counter. Not a huge complaint and I'll continue to use it and no doubt the cord will relax with use. I'm considering buying a second blender to make my own laundry soap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Larissa from So easy! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had been making do without a hand blender for so many years and now regret waiting so long to get one! I love to make pureed soups and was getting tired of pouring the hot soups back and forth between my soup pot and the blender. The 2-speed blender mixed up my Potato Leek soup so fast and so easily, I couldn't believe it! No more splashing hot soup everywhere! I've now been making fruit smoothies for breakfast each morning and absolutely love how easy it all is - blending, pureeing - and the clean up is so easy too! And I love the colour - I got the ice blue and love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ValerieR from Great product I originally purchased a different blender but it seemed cheap. This blender is rugged and works wonderfully. I use it everyday to mix my protein drink. It's easy to clean. I'm so glad I purchased the Kitchedaid brand. The only drawback is the plastic cup they provided. It's the perfect size and I like the rubber bottom. But the sides are all scratched from the blender. I tried to blend carefully but it's still badly scratched. I'm thinking I have to throw it out because I believe that germs will accumulate in the scratch area (like a chip in plates). I wish they made it with a material that didn't scratch or proved a way to order more because it is a nice size.
