Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent but... After loads of research hubby and I bought this refrigerator, and loved the fact that it works well, is white for our new kitchen, and is very quiet, all of which is important to us. BUT, be warned about the shelf's! The shelving does NOT go all the way to the back of the refrigerator, which I've never seen before so I didn't notice it at the store. There is about a 2" gap between the end of the shelf and the refrig's back wall. As such, anything small than a soda can falls through and falls/slides down the wall to the shelves below. What a pain in the neck and much wasted space!!! Whoever designed this refrigerator needs his head examined...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisey! Noisey! The NOISE of this fridge is beyond horrible, and CONSTANT. I can hear it throughout the house--a high pitched ringing noise. I have this same fridge at a cabin and there's zero noise, beyond the fan turning on periodically. Two techs have come out, with calls into Whirlpool (who owns KitchenAid). According to the Whirlpool tech, "there was a bad lot of these and we are aware of the problem. Try replacing the compressor. It may help." MAY...and they know the issue. The techs coming to the house have tried to help, but this is a known issue. They should replace my fridge! Oh, and this is the 2nd model we have had installed in 6 months--the first fridge heated rather than cooled. This is a horrible unit. DO NOT BUY IT!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor purchase, nothing fits! I bought this refridgerator about 3 months ago and find it to be aweful. The shelf and door space do not hold much. No matter how you adjust the shelves, you cannot place a gallon of milk or amond mild in the fridge wihtout losing half a shelf. The doors close on you while you are trying to place something in the fridge. The freezer "basket" is vey cheeply made and is very shallow that it doe not hold a lot. Furthermore, to get the separators out of the freezer you need to take the whole basket out and use a screw driver to pry it off - and hopefully not break it. All in all i am not happy with this refrigerator and would love to return it and get my old one back. If I could I would rate it -1.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This had to be desighned by a man who eats out. This unit is the most poorly designed refrigerator ever. The shelving spacing dose not permit bottles to be placed on them and you have to use the door shelves The freezer holds half of what my much smaller refrigerator freezer held The difficulty in removing the components to clean caused me to cry.. The freezer unit does not permit removal of the basket to clean. Who ever designed this unit should have tried to clean it before it was put on the market It is so apparent that this unit was designed by a man who never cleaned anything. Hire a woman. My husband bought this unit because it was big and silver. I did not get a choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we wanted [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water/ice dispenser inside eliminates the problems we have had with in-the-door dispensers dropping stray ice cubes that sneak out unexpectedly and fall on the floor leaving a puddle/ water stains. It also gives more storage shelf space in the doors to place frequently used items. The single drawer freezer seems more economical to manufacture, and fewer things to break during life of the fridge. My only complaint is that the AC power cord was a few inches too short to reach the outlet at the upper-back side of the cabinet cubby before rolling the fridge into it. Had to modify the outlet location to a lower position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from French doors lead the way! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My stainless French door refrigerator is amazing! I chose this style after having had 2 side-by-sides in my lifetime. There is so much more usable space in this fridge. The space is changeable too, for larger or taller items that might require more space. It is easy to see what is in the refrigerator without crawling on the floor to see the fruit and veggie bins. I chose to not have water and ice in the door. I use the inside dispenser when I want cold water, and I have an RO system, so it is filtered and delicious. Getting ice from the bottom is never a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it but... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new KitchenAid refrigerator however there seems to be an issues with the freezer door. When we pull to open it from the middle and right side of the handle, it's fine. When we pull from the left side of the handle, it doesn't work smoothly. We reached out to the place where we bought it and were told there was nothing they could do. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking, but... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good looking refrigerator that has functioned well for the first few weeks of ownership, but for the price and reputation it's nowhere near as substantial and sturdy as expected. The doors are light and the handles feel a little thin--in particular, opening the freezer compartment doesn't give a feel of quality at all. If you don't grab the handle dead center the drawer twists a bit and feels like it's about to come off the tracks. Pleased with function and appearance, but a little disappointed with materials and quality.
