Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Ovens a Big Dissapointment On 7/21/2015 I purchased my second K.A. Oven. My first oven lasted 14 years with no major problems. From the time the new ovens were installed,(7/30) I experienced one problem after another. Both of the ovens made a terrible noise and the convection was not working. Call store for service. On 8/13 service dept. came out; decided I needed new motors. Motors were ordered. New motors were installed on 9/18/2015.In the process of installing, repairmen noticed both fans had bent blades and had to straighten them out. I am hopeful I will have no further problems. As much as I enjoyed my K.A. Ovens in the past, I don't know if I would recommend them to others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful This is the worst purchase I have ever made. It was expensive and a long wait to get. When installed it was beautiful. It is an awful product. It takes 20 to 40 minutes to preheat and will not cook anything in the prescribed time. We replaced a Dacor unit which was old but perfect. We have had the service people here to evaluate the unit but they say this is as good as it will get. We are so sorry. After an hour on a 30 minute recipe the items are cool and can be handled bare handed. This unit is truly substandard despite the service people saying it is properly performing for its ability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy something else [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a self-cleaning oven, so be prepared to get on your hands and knees to scrub it without the help of Easy Off If you cook with a lid on your pot and the evaporation spills under your pan, it will embed that water stain into the glass and you will be scrubbing with the weiman daily cleaner, granular cooktop max, scrubbing pads and a razor tool they provide, just to get the water stain up. Not to mention, spilled food, oil, etc that might occur. The heavy cleaning is also a daily routine. The baking drawer is a joke. 1-1/2 hours to cook a pie. It's more of a warmer. The locked position for the controls keeps shutting off by itself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad quality I had this oven installed on my new home by the builder. After a couple of months, the bottom oven bottom chipped, and if was under the builder warranty so they replaced it. I did purchase the extended warranty because Kitchen Aid sent me tons of letter offering it. Now, after 3 years, the bottom oven that is the one I use 90 % of the times, chipped again. They are sending somebody to do a touch up. it doesn't make any sense , since it looks like this oven's coating (blue) is not of good quality (I had the same problem twice with 2 different units in 3 years).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Aqua Clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stove in many ways it heats quickly, gooks evenly, controls are a little too sensitive. I am a big kitchenaid fan everything in my old house was kitchen aid and the same when we moved. And this is the first time i feel I need to write a review. The aqua clean does not work I ran it 4 times and the dirt around the probe will not come off no matter how hard i try to clean it, it is awkward to see, because the lights are shining in my eyes. There are other areas that are the same. I do not want to use chemicals can you recommend another way to get this clean like the old days when it just got hot and when done perfectly clean?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Performer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the KitchenAid 27” double convection oven to replace an old JennAire. I did a lot of research and many comparisons to similar products by competitors. Ultimately this one looked nice, it fit in the existing opening and it had the important features: convection in both ovens, easy gliding racks, self cleaning. I’ve been using them for about 2 months now. These heat very evenly and operate fairly quietly. I love the blue interior! The racks are ok, but not as solid as the Bosch ones. Overall I’m very pleased. I think we got a lot for our money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing This new oven was installed in our renovated kitchen in March, and despite the fact that the delivery guys connected it incorrectly and the circuit box "blew up" and the stove was ruined, we are now searching for a new range. I am not sure I'd get this one again, as the controls being in the front of the range as they are were super sensitive. Everytime we walked by it seemed, something beeped or a burner would turn on or the oven would start to preheat. This was a bit unsettling to think we may not realize these things and it would be left on. Kitchen Aid has made this suite of cool looking appliance; I'll admit I was a sucker for the cool handles, but there isn't much going on for them behind the cover. Very diappointed in a name I thought I can trust.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love to bake [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The baking drawer does not have an element that can heat past 360. I preheated the oven for 2 hours to get to that temp. The rest of the stove is okay. It is slow to preheat and the timer is not loud enough and only beeps once. I like the capacity of the oven and the steam bake is wonderful for bread. When using the convection bake I leave the temperature what the recipe recommends or it takes extra time to bake. I am learning to use this stove and I think it will bea good purchase. I did trade it for the same stove without the “baking” drawer. My low rating is because of the baking drawer.
