Rated 5 out of 5 by macmama from I love my new fridge! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This beautiful fridge was installed about a week ago (with the matching KitchenAid gas/electric range), and I couldn't be happier. It's easy to clean inside and out, has tons of room inside, a terrific water filter (I live in an area with very hard water and it tastes delicious right from the dispenser!) and a feature that I personally love - magnets will adhere! My elderly father lives with me, and needs things where he can see them easily. This fridge makes loads of ice and is easy to access. I love the front being clean and streamlined too. Super product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KarenGA from Has a place for everything [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our French Door refrigerator last month, and I was curious to see how transitioning from a top-freezer model to a French door would work. We're please! It's so much easier to find refrigerated foods, especially the cold cuts and cheeses in the special drawer. (Though I wish the drawer was two side-by-side drawers, like the two crispers.) Not quite sure how I feel about a bottom freezer, but we are very impressed with the ice maker and the easy-access interior water dispenser. It's great to have filtered water and ice made with filtered water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TashaB from Love our New Fridge (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After looking at several fridge models we decided to go with the KitchenAid because it had less bells and whistles to have to repair in future. Don’t get me wrong it has enough features to entice you but we have peace of mind that it is going to do what it is supposed to do without fail. Some of my favourite features are the vegetable crispers(veggies that we bought a week ago are like we just got home from the grocer) the space in the fridge is amazing, the water dispenser on the inside keeps everything clean and tidy plus just the overall look of the Kitchen Aid . Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charlotte123 from Sleek appliance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first Kitchenaid refrigerator lasted for 28 years - they are the best! We needed a smaller profile to fit in our renovated kitchen and were so glad there was a Kitchenaid model available to fit our needs. We like the water feature inside to keep the outside look so sleek and also like having the easy to change water filter. The refrigerator shelving and bins are easy to place and can be set up to suit your own design. I particularly like the sliding shelf to accomodate tall floral arrangements that I can make ahead for gatherings. It took us a while to get used to a bottom freezer drawer but now we like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2xKA from Works perfect! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator! It is sleek and stylish on the outside, but most important is all the features and functionality work great. I really wanted water and ice on the outside of the door, but due to my kitchen size limitations that wasn't an option to fit in my space and now I actually am happy that they are both on on the inside. I love that because water is always cold, unlike water in the door. I also am very happy with the liners in the door shelves, which helps keep it clean. Nice touch. This is my second KitchenAid and I am very please with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeeves' Mom from Love This Refrigerator! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have limited width and depth space for a refrigerator because of vintage hand-made cabinetry and needed a 33-inch wide model which was not over 34-inches in depth. This Kitchen Aid 33-inch French Door is wonderful! We like the layout of the freezer on the bottom, and the French Doors open to a well-laid out refrigerator space with two large bins and a full-width deli drawer. The water dispenser is inside the refrigerator, which some might find less convenient, but it's fine with us. The lights inside are LED and make for a very bright interior so that you can find things easily. It's solidly built and quiet. We really appreciate that it's Made in America!

Rated 5 out of 5 by The old Professor from Wonderful new appliance for our "new" kitchen [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 30-year old refrigerator finally had so many problems, even though it still ran, we needed a newer, quieter, better looking, more efficient, and more user friendly refrigerator. Since, in the last 3 years, we had had to tear out our old kitchen (to the studs, due to a broken water line), we did extensive research and decided to buy the KitchenAid. We are very glad we did, it meets or exceeds all of our expectations (so far.) It is the 33" wide, 22 cubic foot interior, stainless steel, french door model with freezer on the bottom and internal water dispenser with automatic ice maker. My wife absolutely loves it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ranz from Do not buy! Terrible Kitchenaid product. Purchased fridge in early July 2017. It stopped working January 15, 2021. Technician came 5 times and replaced the condenser and evaporator. Fridge is still not working. We have not had a fridge for 2 months now. Food has spoiled and has forced us to go shopping during COVID pandemic almost daily. We are retirees and the expectation is that we now have to purchase a new fridge at prorated value. If this fridge can not be repaired, the onus is on the manufacturer to replace the product at no charge. We have been loyal customers of Kitchenaid for over 22 years and the fact this product has failed in such a short time is quite disheartening.

Rated 2 out of 5 by K222 from Disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator a month ago. After delivery, we noticed that the top of the doors seem have separation/gaps with insulation visible. This is clearly a defect, rather than damage. We were hoping to purchase other matching KitchenAid appliances for our kitchen, but may end up looking at alternative brands given the defect in quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda from Very satisfied with our new refrigerator! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched 33" refrigerators for several months and we finally selected this Kitchen Aid. There are several features which have proven to be important including having a breakaway shelf for larger containers such as pitchers, wine bottles, the refrigerator being on top which allows more visualisation of food, having the ice maker be within the bottom freezer with the filtered water dispenser inside the refrigerator. Our new refrigerator has been quiet which was a concern after reading many reviews about all refrigerators. We found this refrigerator to be exactly what we wanted. We are very happy with our purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Will666 from A Good refrigerator (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We like Kitchenaid refrigerators. The alarm system is a nice feature if one fails to close the doors completely. The handle on the freezer door requires improvement. It comes loose over time because when one pulls on it there is an upward pull. The handle should have a hindge to allow it to come upwards about 45 degrees when pulled out or pushed in then it falls back to 90 degrees when idle. Alternatively the allan screw is too small to tighten and hold tight. After one year I can not tighten or loosen the allan screw. So the handle moves/is loose all the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Vonz_01 from Love the french doors (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this fridge on March 29, 2020 during the COVID-19. Very quiet, I have yet to have the waterline hooked up for the ice maker. The unit is quiet - the freezer is a good size for our family. We eat lots of vegetables, our older KitchenAid single door bottom freezer had larger vegetable and fruit drawers. I do like the large flat pantry shelf - great for storing my cheeses, dehydrated items. The French doors sleek and work well in my kitchen. My previous KitchenAid lasted 15 years. I hope I will get as long a service from this newer model. I took out the extended warranty just in case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PaHaC from Spacious fridge (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are happy with our new fridge. There is a lot more storage space compared to our old 30-inch fridge. Being able to store the large milk jugs in the door bins certainly helps preserve shelf space. Vegetables and fruit definitely last longer in the crisper and the deli drawer is handy for keeping the cheese and deli meats organized. I really didn’t want a stainless steel fridge, but fingerprints haven’t been an issue. I would have rated this fridge five stars, but after two months of use the interior light doesn’t come on when you open the right French door. Unfortunately, that means a service call.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Susan from KitchenAid French Door Refrigerator [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the KitchenAid refrigerator for 6 months. Feature I like are: lower freezer and upper refrigerator, the temperature control is accurate and even, adjustable shelves, pull out meat/cheese tray, etched door pulls which don't show fingerprints, and relatively easy-to-clean stainless exterior. The energy-efficient feature makes it noisy and the vibrations emitted really bothered my ears (tennitus) - to the extent I thought I would need to return it; however I recently bought a high quality floor pad (used for sound absorption in automobiles) and put it underneath the refrigerator which has reduced the high pitched sound! Happy customer now - hope that tip might be helpful to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michiman from Excellent value for money [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only a week with it so far ; but we are extremely pleased with our new KitchenAid 22 cu ft. French Door Refrigerator. Very Quiet operation . All of the shelves are adjustable which is great . This replaced 15 year old KitchenAid that was still going strong . Hope this one lasts as long. Also Made in USA is big plus ( Amana Iowa ) . Amana invented the French Door Style Refrigerator back in the day so that location ( now Whirlpool owned ) knows how to build them to last .

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sable from Could be improved [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a decent fridge; however, the freezer door handle (bottom freezer) is not secure and continues to need the screw tightened. There are only 2 of us in the house and we do not pack the freezer with heavy items so the handle should not loosen. We also eat a lot of vegetables and the vegetable drawers are not nearly deep enough because of the drawer underneath. Not only that, but when pulling out the vegetable drawers they come off the track. If you have a lot of tall items get a larger size than 22 cu ft, This is our first french door style and we will not get another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Drivn33 from Constant headach from day 1 This fridge came in our 5th wheel. From day 1 ice maker would work 5% of the time. After dealing with service repair 3 times.. we finally have up and decided it's not worth the headach. So we bought a portable ice maker. Then the doors i feel don't close like they should.. no suction what so ever. So always having to double check doors.. then I wake up this morning to a horrible smell.. Freezer is a warm 64 degrees and the fridge is 78. Needless to say a loss of over 100.00. The light is on.. blowing air.. just got cold air. So now we wait again for repair service. It's not even 3 years old.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Retired from 22 Cu.Ft. 33-inch Width Standard Depth French Door Refrig [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to purchase a refrig. with a lower freezer but finding it O.K. The refrig. replaces a top freezer KitchenAid I purchased 23 years ago so I'm a bit spoiled. One can tell there have been some cost saving steps in overall quality (shelves, adjustable door shelves, etc) but I am still very happy with it. Ice maker makes smaller ice cubes than what I am use to but O.K. Noise level is low. Freezer portion does a good job in keeping ice cream etc. frozen. If you pull the pull-out bins too far they fall out--not a reliable stopper built in (again probably another cost savings) and takes awhile to get use to in terms of how far you can extend. Overall, I would purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AcvO from Very good refrigerator (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this 2 months ago and we are pleased with it. We replaced another KitchenAid refrigerator (same size) which was still working perfectly after 25 years (Superba model). Quality wise, the older one seemed better but it was quite more expensive (same dollar value/cost except the inflation rate since then is 57%). We are quite curious if the longevity of this new fridge (therefore it’s quality and reliability) will match the older one since it is 57% cheaper. Will report back in 2046.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CURTISBLO from Great French Door Refrigerator for tight areas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was limited to only 36" for my new refrigerator,my Girlfriend had her heart set on a French door style. I was open for any kind of refrigerator as long as it was new and 24 cubic feet. I lost the out and and got the 22 cubic foot French door by KitchenAid. And I am so happy I did. It really has great features like ice maker, water dispenser, push button temp controls which are easy to read. Door shelf that can hold 2 gal' of milk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by marilyn from Fabulous [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product--all the features I wanted--lots of space, with lots of options for placing shelves to fit individual needs. A great wine rack fits under a shelf, ice maker well placed, and the lighting is good. Two spacious bins climate controlled for fruit and vegetables, a snack tray for meats and cheeses, etc. The freezer is very spacious. The only problem I have is that the cold water dispenser, located inside the left hand door of fridge is not well placed. One has to be sure to be holding glass in left hand and the dispenser butter is awkward to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by clwz from Holds all we need and more [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 10 months ago to replace one that I loved. I've found this new refrigerator to be more than I expected - love this one! There is a lot of room, more than one thinks.. The cheese drawer is great; the bottle rack helps keep those uprights out of the way; the door shelves are roomy. My husband loves the cold water dispenser just inside the left door. Ice maker works great; freezer holds a lot. Just a great all around appliance. We are limited to a specific size space for the refrigerator and this fits perfectly. It's easy to move for cleaning underneath and behind it once a year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rich2740 from Biggest small refrigerator I’ve owned [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My maximum width available is 33 inches maximum. So finding a thirty two inch refrigerator Is hard to find. When I found my Kitchen Aid I was ecstatic. I know very well the quality of Kitchen Aid products. I’ve had a Kitchen Aid dish washer for fourteen years and it’s as quiet and dependable as the I purchased it. Good job team Kitchen Aid. I’m a customer for life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jennye from Great quality, lots of great features! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the fridge about a month ago and we are really happy with our purchase. Lots of room in the fridge and good drawers with features like a shelf that can be folded for taller items on the shelf below. It’s a beautiful fridge and hopefully will last us a long time! Like that the water is on the inside versus outside of the fridge taking up room and probably needing maintenance at some point (more cleaning).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mac33 from Doesn’t hold as much as it appeared it would I bought this refrigerator thinking I was upgrading. I still like the look of my French door fridge but it doesn’t hold nearly as much as my old standard style did. Love the inside water dispenser! It’s easier to fill large containers. Over time, the biggest disappointment has been the flimsy materials used (plastic verses metal or glass depending on the part) and the outrageous cost to replace them when they inevitably break. Wish I had paid closer attention to this when I was looking to replace my Whirlpool instead of being swayed by the brand name. It does keep things cold and other than having parts the easily crack with normal use by a family of 5, it works well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NB500 from Attractive fridge and great features (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this fridge about a month ago as part of a kitchen renovation so have not had much time to use it. On the plus side, I love the French door design with the freezer at the bottom. The fresh water dispenser is amazing and easy to use. I really like the fold-back shelf option to store bigger items and the removable wine rack is great. So far, the ice maker is working well. I did have one issue to date: the suggested starting fridge temperature was too cold and froze most of the food. I am experimenting with the temperature to find out the best setting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by candy kilbreath from fingerprints [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was led to believe that the stainless steel shows no fingerprints or smudges. But it sure as heck does. I not only went into one store but I went to two stores and was told by the sales people of two stores that with their technology it will show no prints. Well it does, and it's driving me insane. If I would of known this I most certainly would not of got stainless. I wanted black but at the store she said it's not available. I will most certainly be returning this fridge right after my company leaves. I'm seriously disappointed in this product. I have many Kitchen Aid products, I find they're good quality, but I was so wrong and I was led astray.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nanci from love the looks of it...but [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having owned it for 2 weeks now, we have noticed a few negatives. The water dispenser button is hard to press with your finger, also requires both hands to use (the display model was a one hand dispenser) The freezer handles still feels loose, even after we had to tighten ourselves. The dividers for the freezer trays is not easy to move or to remove at all. We had to pry it out with a knife. Which doesn't make sense, it's just a divider. We do love the looks of it, sleek and simple. Not many models like that in this price range, so it was our only choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FalcondRippr from Questionable quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 10 yr. old Kitchen Aid single door/bottom freezer frig that still worked great...with this model in Black Stainless that better matched our new kitchen re-model. I see why people buy the Korean brands because they're more innovative, have better lighting and are finished nicer. This one came with scratched shelving brackets and a distinct flaw in the finish atop the freezer door which makes one question Kitchen Aid quality control. This unit does what it's supposed to do and everything works OK, but I do think the 10 yr. old frig we discarded was better built. I buy American made whenever I can...and that's what I did again this time, but from what I've seen, the foreign brands are more carefully finished.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abram from Nice features, looks good, and keep things cold [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great and keep things cold. Pretty much what you would ask for from a fridge? There are not many options in the 33" world, so thank you to Kitchenaid, for accommodating those of us with old kitchens, who require this size. I almost subtracted a star because on day 7, the freezer came off its tracks and wouldn't seal, and I had to duct tape it shut until I repair tech showed me how to reset the tracks. I had wished Kitchenaid would have tried harder to get someone out to me sooner than the 48 hour lead time that they had at the time. However, it is fixed, and working great. Also, I am very pleased with the quietness.
