This wall-mounted hood can be installed with a 600 or 1200 CFM motor (not included) depending on your cooking surface. The 48-inch hood has two warming lamps that can help you keep food warm until it's ready to serve. The powerful motor allows installation over the largest commercial-style rangetops and cooktops with outputs up to108K BTU.

The 108K BTU threshold allows the hood to easily handle the output generated by using high-heat cooking techniques on multiple burners at the same time, so it works with almost any cooking surface

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cubang8r01 from Do you want the best? This hood appears aesthetically as you see it in the picture. Function over form. If you like that look, I do, then great. You must purchase the required blower, I opted for the 1200 cfm. This hood is about as well made as well made gets. I installed this hood myself (with the help of my Dad!). I hung it on the studs with a steel L-bar to support it using 5" lag bolts. I feel I literally know all the ins and outs of this hood. It's great, expensive yes, but you won't find better. Man, this sucker can clear some air!!! When you are burning bacon, you can hit high and it will clear the room in seconds! I also have a big open floor plan for what it's worth. It's great. I've seen and tested Wolf, Viking and the like, this sucker blows them all out of the water!

The blower came with out mounting brackets and after hours (yes hours) on the phone I learned that the brackets are not assigned a part number and therefore could not be ordered. A new blower was shipped and the mounting bracket could not be used because the cavity in the hood is not large enough to accommodate the brackets. You would never know this reading the instructions because the illustrations are outdated and not accurate. Luckily, the permanent nuts and bolts did fit the unit. Once installed it works great and it amazingly powerful (1200 cubit feet per minute) on high. Great product except for the installation instructions and supplied mounting hardware.

Rated 2 out of 5 by DB from Works well, cosmetics aside [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My focus and the reason for this review is the extensive cosmetic issues we've had with this hood. The kitchenaid logo just fell off, and no service company will reinstall. Now there are 4 gaping holes staring you in the face. I will need to replace the entire unit, which seems ridiculous, or get some gorilla glue. Also, it took several tries before we got a blemish free stainless flue. First two deliveries had bends all over them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ErinE from Beautiful vent hood but... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vent hood is gorgeous, but the problem was the requirement for a 600 CFM blower. It took us forever to find someone who could install the forced air vent and wire it to the hood blower as is now required in the City of Houston. We finally got it done, but it took a village and our general contractor was no help at all.

On high - hold onto the children! It will clear out smoke in a flash. No more setting off the smoke detectors in my house! Easy to clean. Lights are perfect for lighting up my workspace.
