Rated 1 out of 5 by Stephanie7919 from They don't make these like they used to! I have had to return several of these pasta rollers over the years because the rollers are not perfectly parallel with each other and as a result, they ripple the pasta sheets. Kitchenaid changed the look of these pasta rollers a few years back and the problem seems to have started at that time. I never had that problem with the older models. I just pulled out a new roller that I had purchased in January and not used until yesterday, same problem. I can see that the rollers are not perfectly level, and I was fighting the rippling problem. (I am a professional chef, it's not lack of experience that is the issue.) Hoping they will replace it (and hope to get an acceptable one) despite the amount of time that has passed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mrugg from Plastic roller scrapers crack I have been happy with this product for a while until the plastic roller scrapers broke. After that, the roller is useless as the dough breaks and accumulates within the roller case. I have had a cheap manual pasta roller for 10 years and the plastic of the scrapes is still in good shape. It seems Kitchen Aid does not offer the possibility to just replace the plastic scrapes. That's unfortunate, as the only option is to buy a new one knowing that the scrapes might crack again at some point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bummedatthebeach from Plastic interior sleeve cracked, then broke apart. Disappointed in failure of my handy Kitchenaid pasta roller. Enjoyed it for several years until the inner plastic sleeve of the roller cracked and ultimately broke apart. It is unusable as the pasta roller now only shreds rolled dough which is caught in the fracture and sharp broken sections. Reluctant to replace unless pasta roller attachment has been redesigned for longevity. Perhaps plastic should no longer be used in its manufacture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by chris5475 from Wipers fail rendering the attachment unusable. I've owned this pasta roller for several year, but it was only used about 15-20 times. The rollers have plastic wipers that prevent the dough from sticking to the roller. However, they become brittle and crack over time, not use. Once the wiper cracks, the dough will become clogged in the roller and the attachment becomes unusable. Unfortunately there is no replacement wiper available to service the broken piece. Kitchenaid requires you to replace the complete attachment if it is out of warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KAUSER from Poor quality and After-Sales Service Purchase two years ago and already the plastic parts adjacent to rollers have cracked in several places. I am informed by KitchenAid that the unit is not serviceable and that parts are not available. A perfectly good attachment, needing only an inexpensive part is now destined for landfill. Companies like KA should be ashamed to market such products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by madam from Plastic Falls Apart! Not KitchenAid Quality Quality if what KitchenAid is known for. Why can't they utilize a more durable material in their pasta sheet roller? This product obviously is never put in water and it's certainly not used incorrectly, so I would never have expected it to start disintegrating and KitchenAid doesn't stand behind this product. Don't waste your money!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dolman from Spaghetti Cutter and Pasta Roller Both Broke Within 6 months of having this my Spaghetti cutter stopped working. Foolishly I didn't contact the company then for warranty and just kept using the larger cutter. Now however my rollers one plastic piece broke and keeps sucking pasta into the machine. Very disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by bjorkman10 from In need of a replacement Part I love the pasta roller and we use it a lot in our house. Unfortunately the last time I used it the shaft that rolls the rollers broke off. It looks like an easy fix as long as I can get the part. I've seen someone else have the same exact problem and I used their picture below.
