Rated 5 out of 5 by bbb13 from Great features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster about a month ago. I’ve used it primarily to toast bagels. Really appreciate that you can select bagel for the setting, adjust setting to light, dark or anything in between, and add more time. Intuitive to use. Evenly toasts bagels. Expect the same for toast. It’s heavy duty. Has a retro look. I’ve purchased several Kitchenaid appliances. If this toaster is anything like all other Kitchenaid appliances that I own, I expect this to last several years, possibly decades. I appreciate a balance between quality, performance, design and affordability. This is Kitchenaid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Marty101 from Originally loved it, not so much now... I have always been a fan of Kitchen Aid countertop appliances; in fact, I still have my classic stand mixer from my wedding 22 years ago. When I first bought this toaster, I loved the look of it and all of the cool features, especially the "a little longer" button; however, it recently started toasting unevenly and leaves parts of the bread looking undone. For this price, it really should last years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by XopherTHP from LOVE THIS TOASTER! I never thought I would pay this much for a toaster but since I paid a fortune for my white kitchen renovation, I threw all financial caution to the wind and took the plunge. (You can look around and find deals - I found Williams Sonoma had the highest price and an Amazon seller who had the lowest price). This product looks and works great and the all-metal construction gives this toaster some "heft" - which I love. I am looking forward to a lifetime of use so I'm hoping this baby will do right by me. Time will tell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mama22 from Well-builtToaster After 19 years of amazing toasting, our KitchenAid Ultra Power Plus toaster started to fail. Given the great experience we had, we decided on the ProLine toaster as a replacement. It has been a great addition to our kitchen. We especially love how it toasts bagels. My only two cons of the toaster are it’s size (I don’t like appliances to remain on the countertop and this one is heavy to haul in and out of the cabinet) and the fact it is hard to set the level of toasting darkness the same each time. Half the time I’m having to put the toast back in twice and the other half it’s coming out too dark. I wish there were numbers to really know the levels of darkness being chosen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suzannwe from Best of the best (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) A first class toaster with amazing features. Love that you just have to press the button a little longer, cause not all breads toast the same. Love the lighted front when the toaster is working. The cool touch exterior is great. The quality of the finishing is excellent. The beep sound when the toasts are done is pleasant to hear and not too loud. This toaster lowers the bread automatically and when done if you don't grab it right away, it keeps the toast warm. The quality of a commercial grade toaster in an elegant shape. I just love this toaster.

Rated 2 out of 5 by katinik from Not performing We've had this toaster for around a year or two and sadly it's not built to last. It's now taking at least 3 cycles on the highest temperature setting to toast anything at all. Hopeful that customer service might be able to help us out, but overall quite disappointed, a waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rod20 from All automatic (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have been using it for a couple of months. It is very straightforward to use. You put the slices of bread, and without touching anything, it senses the weight and toasts the slices automatically. Nice design and not extremely bulky. Nice functionalities. The 4 stars is due to: However, this feature can work against you. If you don't remove the toasts after a minute or so, a new cycle starts and your bread gets toasted twice. Another issue we found it that if you put only one slice, the darkness on one side is a bit different than the other.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TJoe from Beautiful looking, but light on toast (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love the features of this toaster and it looks great sitting on my counter top. My only complaint is that I have to set it at the highest level (dark) to get a medium toast and I often have to use the "a little longer" button to finish the toast. I don't know if this is typical for this toaster or if mine has a defect. If it were not for this problem, I would have rated it 5 stars. All the features work perfectly, from the automatic raise and lower, to the bagel button and the frozen button.
