It looks nice but it doesn't work as promised.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been fans of KitchenAid for a very long time but this induction range and the poor response from KitchenAid/Whirlpool regarding service has ruined our good feelings. We had this $3,000 range for less than a month and the oven stopped working correctly leaving us unable to use it for the entire Thanksgiving holiday. The control panel went bad and we were without it again during the entire Memorial Day holiday. The customer service team doesn't follow up. We've spend endless hours trying to get help. I'm sorry to say the company isn't the fine company it once was.

You’ll be glad you did[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My electric range was getting unreliable. The eyes were erratic so things would burn or not cook. This was my second top of the line electric that left me frustrated. I was seriously considering goin to gas which would have required a tank & plumping
a gas line in the house. when I went shopping the salesman mentioned induction & I’m what’s that? Well a new set of cookware & this stove have completely changed our cooking in a positive way. Instant control of heat on eyes, timers for each eye. Dual ovens. I couldn’t be happier. Only thing is the oven is a little slower to reach temp than my electric.

Love range but is noisy(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Looks great and works great but induction is noisy. Love having the controls on top of the stove instead of on the front so that the kids don't accidentally press any buttons. Like the feature where it turns itself off if something boils over. Like all the alerts that let you know if you have left the stove on. The only real complaint is that the noise level on the induction stove top is really loud. I know they all make noise but it seems louder when compared to induction stoves that I have seen at friends houses. Noise is buzzing and clicking (see video: https://vimeo.com/235674145)

Love/Hate[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros
- The induction cooktop is wonderful
- The primary oven is very good
- Having a secondary oven is very helpful
- The styling is very attractive
- The free 12-piece cookware is great
Cons
- The cooktop controls were designed without any regard to usability. It takes multiple, error-prone steps to use them. This is a big con.
- Three of the four burners are small and it is not possible to use two large pots simultaneously.
- AquaLift self cleaning is completely without merit.
- The baking drawer is quite small and only takes very short pans.

A modern upgrade[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently moved and replaced the original electric infrared range with the KitchenAid induction slide in range. We couldn’t be happier with its appearance and performance. The induction cooking area can be heard when in use but we do not find it to be very loud or objectionable and nothing heats a pan as evenly as induction. The convection fan in the oven is nearly silent and the oven is a very good size. Appliances such as these are a big expense for many but it is something that gets used every day, so in our opinion, these are worth saving up for.

Love it, but takes some getting used to(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Overall, we love it. The heating consistency on the stove top is incredible. You have to get used to new cookware, the way that cookware heats up, and a few other things, but overall it is a much better and enjoyable cooking experience. The oven has also been really great but I find the unit tends to heat up a lot on the outside when I bake bread, or bake other things at high temperatures for a long period of time. So far that hasn’t caused any issues but with young kids I am definitely cautious with them touching the outside of the stove when I am using it on high heat.

Sleek, modern, great features[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I decided to splurge on a new range, my wish list included: slide-in for a built in look, convection oven, stovetop with bridge element, warming setting on stovetop, baking or warming drawer or 2 ovens. I got all that and more - one rack that is fully extendable making it easy to check on, turn, and remove pans of vegetables, meat, cookies, turkey; proofing and steam baking for bread; convection roasting in addition to convection baking; superfast induction response on cooktop, a baking drawer that is essentially a second oven without sacrificing capacity of the main oven; and a complementary set of cookware for induction cooking.

Wow[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too excited and cannot yet rank the features I love which include power boil and the casserole drawer/second oven. The fact that the induction top surface does not stay hot after use is an important feature for the safety of naughty feline friends and curious tots. Even the oven racks have indulgent features! The technological learning curve has been fun and easy. The variety of burner sizes is under-marketed and includes the long bridge option (excellent for breakfast grilling) as well as a uniquely smaller pot/pan (my son’s preferred burner for his “on the go”solo cooking). I cannot wait to cook a holiday meal!
