Okay experience so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for a month now and am happy with the multiple settings for different types of clothing as well as intelligent features to sense the load and save water. However, during the spin cycle, the washer is rattling. When I put pressure on the back left corner the squeaking and rattling stops. I've been consistently venting the washer between loads by avoiding closing it, but it is already developing a musty smell. In not impressed so far with this washer. It seems to clean my clothes well, but I'm afraid it is going to need maintenance sooner rather than later.

Now I can wash remotely!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG is been improving every day to make our lives easier, making innovations in products that are required in our lives. This washer has more features than the previous LG model I replaced, I won’t finish writing all the different ways this washer can work but I can tell the two key features that I consider a must for getting it. First, I can make it wash my clothes remotely, just with the LG think app and connected to my network, load the washer with clothes, soap, softener and make it work at your convenience. Second, it has a big capacity to wash a large comforter with no problem at all.

Incredibly Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In replacing my 15 year old LG front loader I chose this particular model due to both its size & that it has the automatic soap dispenser which is a heavenly feature. This machine is so quiet I actually have to look at it to see if it's running, even when on max spin it's extremely quiet. I love it and only wish I'd bought it sooner.
The only disappointment I have is that LG no longer offers machines in colors, I had the navy blue units previously and loved how they looked and was really hoping to get these in the red but they only come in this dark grey.

Welcome to the 21st Century!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Washing machines have come a long way since the days of the old top loaders. This machine is nearly silent, has way more wash cycles than I'll ever use, and does an awesome job of cleaning clothes. I really enjoy not having to add detergent and fabric softener every load too. The dispenser works great! The reservoir gets filled every 12 to 14 days on average and I don't have to worry about using too much detergent which can damage the machine. Love the smart functionality. I admit I was skeptical at first. Why on earth would I need my washing machine to be connected to the internet? Well, linking the matching dryer to the washer in the LG thinQ app means I don't have to think about which dryer cycle to choose, as it decides for me based on what cycle the washer used! It also sends me a notification on my phone when the cycle is done. My only complaint is that you cannot turn on the machine through the app. You need to be in front of it and push the button in order to turn it on which in my opinion is a huge oversight in design. But I still gave the machine 5 stars based on the quality of the product, number of features, and overall cleanliness of clothes. As for durability, time will tell. But I will say I hope they last a very long time because we have truly stepped into the future of laundry with these units.

Fantastic before the manufacturing defect leak
I bought this a month ago used it 2 days it is a fantastic machine. Then it started leaking. The drum has a manufacturing defect and will have to be replaced if they can get it off back order. The last LG front loader I had for 15 years and still worked when I upgraded to this one. Still hoping to have it fixed or replaced. Not sure after all the problems I have been through with where I bought it and LG if I will buy another. Not good to leave your customers hanging. Where I worked we would be required to replace or upgrade. I think I will be stuck with a refurb now

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to this washing machine from an old top loader, and this choice has honestly changed my life. What would have taken me 3 loads I can now get done in 1. My family’s hampers are empty and I feel like I’m barely doing laundry. I love love love the automatic detergent and fabric softener dispensers. It saves time and energy, and takes the guess work out of how much to use for each load. The settings are great and easy to use, too. It’s even fairly quiet. My clothes for the most part are cleaner than with my old machine, and the fabric softener has them smelling so fresh. I highly recommend!

Great Features and Connectivity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great washing machine with a great matching dryer. The machine is so quiet while it is working that we sometimes forget it is on and don't realize until the happy little jingle plays or the ThinQ app notifies us that it is done. The connectivity is great both in that it can talk to the dryer to give settings but also through the ThinQ app and google home!!! The tank to hold 18 loads worth of detergent and softener is a great feature that makes everything so easy. Highly recommended!

Model below has real glass door
I was shocked to discover that the WM4200, a model "below" this one (it is missing an essentially useless feature or two) has a real glass door while this model doesn't. Setting up the ThinQ app is a nightmare on iOS 14.5 and the printed manual is badly organized and incomplete.
