I had a Bosch before this and I thought that was a great dishwasher. This Maytag is leaps and abounds better. It's quieter, has better features and I have not needed to rewash anything. my dishes come out much cleaner than I've ever seen them before. And the drying feature is fantastic! With my old dishwasher, I was used to shaking excess water off of everything, and drying with a rag but not with this! Every dish I grab is clean, dry and ready to be put away. Absolutely amazing! I love Maytag!

The pain was getting to the back adjustment legs. its very quiet but I replaced the poly blanket with a wool one removed from an old Samsung unit. Better insulating and sound absorbing material. The run time is excessively long 2 hr 36 min. more options for wash cycles would be a plus. The waste grinder is better then Iv seen. easy Maintenance. I did loose a plastic lid top to the Heating element as I thought I would. A light screen over the element would be good. We will see in 3 years as to your quality with the pumps, electronics, door seals.

My dishwasher was about 20 years old and it was like having my 3 year old do the dishes. I swear they somehow were worse than when I put them in there. Yet I continued to try it…everyday. Finally when I was looking for a washer and dryer, for the same reason, I came across this new dishwasher. After a bit of a struggle to get it installed we were in business. No fault of the dishwasher, our kitchen is home owner built and the opening was not the right size. I am now able to put dirty dishes in and pull clean dishes out. It exceeded my expectations.

Our Home Warranty Insurance allowed us to choose this Maytag because of its, great looks with stainless steel front, stainless tub on the inside and believe it or not, ten year warranty on the baskets. Wow !!! This dishwasher cleans like a champ and looks fantastic in our kitchen. Thank you Maytag for an awesome appliance. I would highly recommend Maytag. We also own new Maytag washer and Dryer that we have had about 2 years now and those are great too. Maytag still holding up to it’s super brand name. MAYTAG … THE WAY TO MAKE LIFE EASIER !!!!!!!

It is the first Maytag appliance we have owned and we are impressed. There so much room inside and the dishes come clean no matter what they were used for. No rinsing. The dishwasher is so quiet that we have to check to make sure it is running. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that it did not come with a user guide. For instance, why is there not a rinse only cycle? I realize the dishes doe not need rinsing before they are washed but being just the two of us we do not run the dishwasher every day and we are used to just a quick rinse till we have a full load.

I even had to put my ear up to the door to make sure it was running wow! never had one I could not hear clear into the next room I love it so much I’ve decided now I want all my appliances to be Maytag. I’m impressed with the finger printless stainless steel and the inside tub is also stainless steel I love that it’s All stainless inside and out and let’s not forget about the power its amazing the dishes are so clean nothing stuck on them and I did not even have to rinse the dishes before loading them. I love this Maytag dishwasher

I hated giving up the old one since it cleaned dishes so well, even on the quick cycle. It had started to leak off and on so I decided it was time for a new one. I chose another Maytag since I was happy with my old one. The new one cleans just as well but is even quieter than the last one. The stainless is easy to clean and always looks good. The only thing I would change is the location of the silverware holder. I would prefer it along the front instead of the side. I hope it lasts as long as my old one did.

Everything comes out clean (as to be expected), but what really impressed me was when I washed some mason jars that I had attempted to remove a label from (tomato sauce jars from the store). I had soaked them for a bit and tried to scratch the label off but some of the paper and glue remained. I figured I would need to get out the goo-gone stuff but when I took them out of the dishwasher they were sparkling! I'm not sure if it's bad for the dishwasher to have that come off in it, but so far everything has been working great.

Since my Maytag washer and dryer has been working 100% from day one, I decided to get a Maytag dishwasher. It does a better job cleaning the dishes and is much more quite than the GE one that I had. From what I have learned, Maytag has done a re-design on this model and as a mechanical engineer, I can see they have done a great job with its construction. Easy access to everything for the install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Icebucket from Quiet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought and had it installed after 3 weeks of delays, Not a Maytag Issue but I need to put it here for people who are buying dishwashers, be aware of seller who dont have qualified delivery and installers. as far as the dishwasher goes after it was installed with much to do, there is a small leak from the front left bottom corner of the door, I believe the rubber seal needs to be seated better maybe after a few uses it seals itself, if not it will need a service call. also, I was told by the installer the white foam looking blanket the wraps around the unit is not needed, and it was not installed .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have never had a dishwasher in our home before, but when we bought our new home, we decided to have one put in and chose this Maytag dishwasher after doing much research on the best one to buy. We have not regretted it! Not only does it get off the caked on grim on the utensils and dishes, but it gets our dishes nice and dry so I don't have to wipe them when the load is compete. Then there is the satisfaction of knowing they are absolutely sterilized, not just clean. I would recommend this brand and model to anyone interested in purchasing a new dishwasher.

I did the removal and reinstall work myself, and the work was pretty easy, the plumbing & electric was already in place. This unit is so quiet you can hardly tell it is running. I mostly use the quick wash cycle with a short heated dry, and my dishes all come out dry and sparkling. The appliance is a compliment to my kitchen with the stainless steel finish, inside and out. After 1 months use, no leaks, no glitches, no issues what so ever. I am very loyal to the Maytag Brand, and this unit certainly earns my loyalty.

I didn’t have the $25,000 quoted budget for new. SO, I painted walls, replaced damaged floor, still...then painted dk brown cabinets white with new hardware...much better... BUT still missing. THEN, I replaced some of old inefficient white appliances with fingerprint resistant stainless. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I love my new dishwasher! Dishes are CLEAN and DRY, SAVING on water bill with 4 gallon water usage per cycle, QUIET operation, and MODERN appearance!! Thank you, MAYTAG!!!

Maytag had the best reviews hands down! We did not replace an old dishwasher unless you count me as the old one! HA! HA! This for our cabin. It fits the atmosphere- Quiet! You can tell also that it is a well built machine. I love that you can take out the silverware tray to fill it up.This dishwasher should last me a long time since it will not be used every day. I am very pleased with it. Yes. It was more expensive than other brands but you get what you pay for!! Goat Lady - we raise Kiko Goats!

My husband wanted something with a better way to remove food, which this does with the chopper. The door and bottom rack is about 6 inches lower to the ground than our previous washer, which will take some getting used to. The utensil rack only fits in 2 places, the back of the lower rack or, far right. Wish I could put it up front or on the top rack. I'm not sure how a 3.5 - 4 hour long wash cycle is more energy-efficient than my previous washer when my old washer's cycle was an hour flat.

So far soldi and does a far better job than the GE. It seems to dry the dishes better as well. Easy access to the filter for cleaning. I changed this appliance my self in 2 hours. Instructions were clear and detailed. Save the power cord and the hose connector from the old machine. This unit does not supply them. To summarize, this unit is quieter, with faster cycles and drys the dishes better than a machine that cost nearly twice as much. What else do you need to know

It makes a steady humming/buzzing noise throughout the entire wash cycle. From my research it seems to be the pump that makes this noise. It's not super loud but it really bothered me initially. Now that I'm used to it it's not so bad. Other than that it's been a great dishwasher so far. Does a really great job cleaning dishes, has plenty of room, and I like the way the silverware section is divided up.

My old appliances had only been used for 6 years, but I wanted to change the color of the appliances, plus I wanted to put newer appliances in my home before I started to have failures with them. My old dishwasher made a lot of noise when operating, and I hoped that a new one would be quieter. So far I love my new Maytag dishwasher, it is so quiet that one would hardly know it was running, plus I installed the unit myself, which was no problem. I give my Maytag a big 5 star rating.

It is by far the best dishwasher we have ever had. My last dishwasher was a high efficency and it needed major cleaning after each use. In this Maytag, you don't have to worry about tearing the dishwasher apart to clean screens, yeuck. this has a small little basket you just have to keep clean. Take out rinse and put back. Most times I don't know it is running from the other room. the heat setting really dries the items in the dishwasher, just be sure not to put plastics in the bottom near the heater.

I decided to make a change because of its vintage, but also because of the projected chip-difficulty and the fact that there seems to be a shipping problem. I was so lucky to find exactly what I wanted from a family owned business who were able to arrange the install and removal. My Maytag is solid, solid, solid. My previous machine felt somewhat like a toy in comparison. I did benefit from some of the youtube videos from Maytag online. I do think that the startup instructions could use some polishing. It was not clear enough to me in the beginningg.

I like the stainless steel exterior and interior. The upper and lower trays are easy to load and the flatware container is huge. The front controls are a little less convenient than the top door controls like our old dishwasher. This one also makes a little more water spray noise sometimes, but overall is very quiet. We had professional installation because it was included in the price, along with delivery and removal of the old unit. This dishwasher is a good value for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher we have ever owned, except for the Maytag one we had 10 years ago in a different house. That was 5-Star also. This appliance cleans dishes wonderfully. We use the AUTO cycle and the QUICK cycle. Both do a good job of washing. But the best feature of this Maytag dishwasher is the low noise level when in operation. Wow! So, so very quiet. "Is it on?" we ask each other. But of course we know that it's on... After all, it's the reason we bought this replacement dishwasher. Maytag's are absolutely wonderfully quiet. We will buy again.

We both really enjoy the wash options and the power boost feature. The additional drying cycles and other features just add to the options you have to hash dishes. The top rack is VERY deep leaving plenty of room for large cups etc.. The lower rack is spacious as well affording a varied amount of bowls and dishes as well. It is very quiet when running. The outside appearance is very appealing and easy to clean. It came with everything I needed to make the installation. We are both exceptionally pleased with this dishwasher

Our last one, which was also a Maytag, was 17 years old so I really notice a difference in how well the dishes are cleaned. I would have really liked a model with the third rack but due to limited stock because of COVID, we didn't want to have to wait until that model was available. We also enjoy how quiet it is compared to our old dishwasher. The one thing I don't really like is that the rack seems much lower in the unit than our old one so it is a bit more difficult to unload

We purchased this dishwasher in March and had to wait until July to receive it because of supply issues on Maytag’s end. In terms of functionality, this is an average dishwasher. I love that the Maytag comes with a standard “mini garburator” feature built-in to help prevent clogs in the tubing/pipes. I don’t like the design of the wine rack section, as it really only allows one wine glass to be placed safely. My old dishwasher always had a nice blue light inside that lit up when you opened the door - I miss that feature. Bottom line - this is an average dishwasher, it does the job as well as any other (so far).

This new Maytag must be quieter than the rating states, because we can never hear it running even when standing next to it. The cleaning is amazing. I never remember our plates, glasses and stainless steel cookware ever being that clean and actually shinny. THANK YOU Maytag for putting such great quality and care into your design! This is the second great Maytag appliance we have purchased and I don't think we'll ever buy anything except Maytag again. Keep up the tremendous work!

I was interested especially in American made models. Reviews I read were all favorable so I bought it. My husband and I installed it ourselves with no problems. I purposely loaded it with some tough items, pots that I would never have put in my old machine. They came out so clean!! I kept showing items to my husband because I just couldn't get over how great a job it did!! My sister in law has an much more expensive machine and she says hers would not to that good of a job! So happy with this purchase!

Everything works as hoped for. A couple of comments. The very large compartment is great. So nice to be able to have tall things on the top rack. To accomplish this the door opens very very low. It is definitely a tripping hazard. Be careful. The only other thing I don't like is that the silverware holder doesn't lock on to the rack. It slides back and forth when pulling out the bottom rack. It is very very quiet. I like the little beeps that remind you to push the start button if you open the door after the cycle has started.

I have a Maytag washer and dryer that I love so when my Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher stopped working, I decided to get a Maytag. No regrets so far. I generally use the quick wash setting because I rinse the dishes well and it cleans perfectly! The only caveat is rergarding the installation. No one tells you that you must have an air gap installed otherwise the installers cannot complete the work. Make sure molding is removed and you have an airgap installed otherwise youwill have to reschedule the installation.

First, I was drawn to this model because it seemed to have way more positive reviews than negative. My last dishwasher lasted nearly 30 years and had to remove laminate flooring to get it out so I wanted to make sure I got a good one to replace it. So far have not been disappointed. The cycles are really long but it does a great job and hardly makes any noise. It does have an odd smell at times that I think are just the fact it is still new and I'm used to the odor from my old one. Note the only reason I gave it 4 stars is I haven't had it long enough to truly evaluate it's performance.
