We installed them on 10/13/19 a few loads in we noticed the ‘extra Power’ button would turn on when it sensed our finger near it. This would make the extra power button turn on when our hand was close then off again when the bottom was pushed. Also would randomly blink on and off during a load. The washer and dryer both work excellent the dryer is large and drys great! We will be getting a new console on both the washer and dryer Installed in a few weeks. I will try to give another review after the work is done.

So far we have been blown away with how well this dryer works. I love the extra power button which is helpful in finishing a cycle more quickly, and I love all of the optional modes that I can choose from and the fact that I can also adjust the dryness levels, heat levels, and wrinkle control on each dry mode. This dryer has been life-changing for our family, it has allowed us to spend more time doing things other than laundry. I really appreciate Maytag for making a quality and affordable product that is American made!

While the washer and dryer are amazing there are things I didnt know. I bought this set because it was a stackable set to make more room in my small house. What I had no clue about is that they don't come with the brackets to install in order to stabilze them on top of one another . Also... i may be out of the loop but I was never aware that you had to purchase your own cord. Now I bought them from menards and I asked the guy for everything I needed and they failed to mention that to me. However this set is amazing and I would highly recommend!

I had always had Maytag, and for some stupid reason switched to an LG 3 1/2 years ago. Big mistake!!! When they broke down I came RUNNING BACK TO MAYTAG!!! Will never purchase another brand. The clothes, towels are done in one cycle. The lint trap is so easy to clean, no hidden crevices. And, it runs so quietly it hard to tell it is running. I am over the moon happy with my new washer and dryer set :) Highly recommend Maytag to anyone looking to purchase a new washer and dryer :)

Each replaced a Maytag that we bought from the same dealer ten years and seven months ago. Before that we had one set of Whirlpool and one of Maytag. You get the picture. Between ten and fifteen years we get another Maytag. We are still learning the tricks and personality of this dryer but like the new features. It is smooth running and very quiet. The settings produce just as stated. We have not had it long enough to say how the electric bill will be. it is used an average of once a day for regular loads.

It's everything that I hoped for (the size, the quietness, the quick dry cycle, & the price). The only thing that I have a problem with is the lint screen. There's this 2 plastic flaps that serves as a door to store the screen in??? Because of this, lint falls off the screen deep into the dryer (if your're not quick enough) before you can even get it out of the housing space. I'm trying to figure out how to get my vacuum tool into that space to suck out all that lint.

I didn't give it 5 stars because there are a few features that I'm not crazy about. The black door looks nice, but you can't see inside the dryer. So, you have to open the door up to see if anything is inside, and there is also no light when you open the door. I also don't like that you have to hold down the start button while it does a 3.2.1 countdown. My washer and dryer are stacked and I'm pretty short, so to hold my finger down while it counts down is a little annoying. But, again, it works great!

The dryer (Kenmore) was still good at the time. The dryer stopped working. I knew it was the heating element. I was going to repair it myself, but soon realized how difficult it was going to be. My wife wanted the matching color which none of the store close to us had. We decided to get the Maytag dryer, just a different color (gray). It has a large capacity tub and quite durable. For the price, it has features that rival some of the more expensive brands.
