[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought washer to replace dead GE Profile. Maytag doesn’t have as big a tub, but it handles a king-size quilt well. Love the agitation. options are a little confusing. You can have normal or deep water. Normal doesn’t use much water and really should be labeled “small load.”
Dryer also has smaller space inside but does nice job. Quiet. Only thing I don’t like is the buzzer at the end. Don’t see how to turn it off.

I love this product!
This dryer is phenomenal! It has huge capacity, but doesn't take up too much space. It's powerful and simple to use. It dries my clothes so fast and has just enough options for what I need. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles and that is perfect for me. I don't need a dryer to send a notification to my phone that it's done. I love that the warranty is so long on this machine and trust that this is going to last. I had this delivered through Whirlpool's home delivery program and it was flawlessly executed. Keep it up, Maytag!

Wet clothes every time
Excellent dryer... If you enjoy wet clothes. We've had this set in our building for 4 months now, I've tried most of the settings on this dryer and I still can't get it to dry my normal sized load of everyday clothes properly. If you like going up and down the stairs to check on your laundry, then this is the dryer for you! Also, the dryer door size is way too small and was obviously designed by someone who does not do their own laundry.

This dryer is so quick. I dry my clothes in half the time as before. 20-30 minutes for wash & wear and 30 minutes for towels. I have been very impressed. The controls are plain & simple no fancy stuff. Turn a knob, push the button & done. Using low & ex low for all items. Very happy with purchase. Only regret is that I didn’t get it sooner.

Outstanding appliance...it's a Maytag!

I just decided at 25 years old, new ones would be more energy efficient and better for our future since we are staying in this home. Our washer, dryer, refrig, and range were all Maytag, so w the proven track record of zero problems and high dependability....we would buy Maytag again. My disappointment came with our 25 year old Maytag dishwasher... a new Maytag dishwasher would not fit into our opening bc over the years we put hardwood flooring in the kitchen. So I had to get an ADA GE dishwasher. I will keep my fingers crossed on that one. But I have been satisfied w Maytag dependability and hope to be w my 4 new Maytag appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t realize how poorly my old dryer was performing until I replaced it! I liked this dryer for the selection of heat and position of the lint trap but the length of the Maytag warranty sealed the deal. However, I have not found a way to turn off the end of cycle buzzer. In fact this happens every few minutes on the wrinkle control. It’s annoying. I’ve had a dryer that didn’t have that option. Am I missing something?

Love the simplicity of this commerical dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been looking for a dryer before our old one died. We like simplicity, a button for heat settings and how heavy the load is. All the electronic ones with half a dozen buttons seems that the electronics board may go out quicker. This dryer was perfect for us. Its a commercial size/grade. There are two downsides to it in our eyes; 1. you cant turn the buzzer off and it buzzes several times when the dryer is finished to let you know its done. We often put towels in at night and go to bed, the buzzer will wake you up!! 2. its very lightweight, the material is made from is very light, so when we open/close the door the entire machine moves across the floor, I know we are going cheaper material these days but maybe they could have put some weights in the bottom to steady it..to us that makes it feel very "cheap." Other than that, we would recommend this. We've had it about 2 months and thats all the downsides of it we can see.

The dryer performs well in its task, but it is excessively noisy. There is a loud buzzing sound during the drying cycle, and the alarm at the end of the cycle will wake the dead on the other side of our house. The design is minimalistic, so don't expect compliments on this unit's appearance.

Bigger drum and light is awesome!

And one other thing is you could change the ding noise when its done because when I first heard I thought it sounded like something shorted out. My husband said the same thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this Dryer 3 weeks and so far i am very pleased it works awesome. I do 2 to 3 loads a week through it. Just remember if you buy the foot print is bigger than residential dryer of same style. This is a no frills dryer but works well and if you like the industrial look like i do it is great. This Dryer gets the job done and i was told when i bought it that it would be louder than my old dryer and that was not the case i do not even notice it and it is on the same level as the living space.

Super Fast Dry Time
The dryer capacity is fantastic! Dries much faster than my old Maytag. Placing the dial between Normal & More Dry time, set to High, has been efficient and complete -even with a load of towels. The dryer end alert is a real quick loud buzz that’s not too bad; it goes off intermittently (once dry) stopping for 5 min, then back on for 15 seconds, ending with another “buzz” - keeping things wrinkle-free if you don’t get to the dryer right away. The dryer runs this on/off cycle and alerts 15-16x before the dial is rotated back to the Off position. I’ll eventually have the buzzer sound disabled as it’s a feature I don’t want near my bedroom, especially at night.
My laundry is absolutely wrinkle-free and noticeably softer even though I haven’t changed what I use - just plain white vinegar in the automatic fabric softener dispenser and no f.s. sheets in the dryer. Not sure why that is, but am guessing the rinse cycle on the washer is doing a better job.
