First please make sure you measure your space and get the size you need. I knew our kitchen was older and messured several times in order to select the right fridge. Second I knew Maytag was a trusted brand so I couldn't go wrong there. As for features this hit all the boxes: side by side, fingerprint resistant, glass shelving in the fridge & freezer, adjustable shelves and ice & water dispenser with filter tracking & adjustable temps for fridge and freezer on the door. Bottom line you get what you pay for and Maytag paid attention to the details on this one.

Less than 1 year after my 3-year warranty on this fridge, the refrigerator side is freezing food (and it says it's set at 41 degrees). Common theme I'm seeing in these reviews. Peanut butter and sauces are hard, some produce has frozen and I've had to throw it out. So frustrating. Our Maytag microwave light broke (and difficult to replace), and our Maytag oven won't get up to temp and is inconsistent. I'm sorry Maytag, you've lost my business.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Jenn-Air Counter depth refrigerator with the beautiful maple cabinet panels went out during the Covid quarantine. I was so sad because I loved the look of it in our kitchen. But I have to say this new stainless steel one is SO nice. I love that the bins are clear and I can see all the food easily. I like the size of the ice cubes and the dispenser works well - our old frig made ice but no longer dispensed it. It was a bit too cold at first, but one degree warmer and it’s great. I hope to have it for many many years!

It is by far the most aesthetically pleasing counter depth refrigerator that I came across. The price was great compared to other options. The adjustable shelves are easy to move and clean. I love how easy it is to access the ice maker from inside and outside of the door. Very pleased! Matching range and microwave are on my wish list!

It's appearance is classic yet stylish with and easy to keep clean with fingerprint free stainless steel. The interior has lighting at the upper and lower levels making it bright throughout and easy to see in the drawers. All drawers and shelves can be rearranged for true customization. The ice cubes are a nice half-inch square (I have not seen this before) and I love it like that -- they fit nicely into any cup. This really is a great fridge and I cannot wait to finish upgrading my whole kitchen to this style.

This new fridge has been a godsend in my house especially with the current state of the world. The freezer has been able to handle the heavy load and the fridge has been keeping the fruits and veggies fresh for weeks. I also love that the ice cube bucket is in the door which allows more storage in the freezer.

Delivered damaged. 6-8 weeks for a replacement door. This beast is LOUD! I can hear it on my second floor....I replaced a 19 year old Kenmore..that was silent and was working beautifully. The inside layout is horrible, if you like putting your liquid drinks on top shelf such as milk gallons or a 2liter bottle...dont bother...it won't fit because huge light box mounterd top front center ..bad design!

Our new Maytag works great, and is easy to use. The ice bin is very accessible, and so easy to use. It's very roomy, well designed, and looks great, too.
