Great Soundbar with Q-Symphony features.I purchased this sound system to take advantage of the Dolby Atmos Q-Symphony features of my new 65 inch QN90B Samsung Neo QLED 4K Smart TV. The setup process was very easy, the TV found and paired up with the soundbar just fine.
Six day later, there wasn't any sound coming from the soundbar or woofer. I spoke with the tech folks at 1-800-Samsung, and went through every trouble shooting option available and then some. Hooked it to a different tv(nothing). Moved an older soundbar to the new TV(That worked) switched cables. It was determined I had a bad unit, and had to have it mailed in for free warranty repair/replacement. The Samsung tech Support folks were great and bent over backwards to help get the soundbar working again. I'll update this review once I get it back.

Don't ignore bad reviewsno issues setting it up with my samsung 75" ru8000. the bar sensed a signal on the arc hdmi port and switched channels, and the tv sent audio to the bar automatically. the bar paired via bt to two phones, and the subwoofer found the soundbar on startup. the tv remote controlled the volume of the bar.
one day the arc hdmi audio cuts off. update the firmware on the bar. nothing. turn off the tv, unplug the power to the tv and bar, and unplug the hdmi (samsung cable). wait. replug in the power. connect the arc hdmi. tv senses the bar, and auto switches to it, but still nothing. pair the tv to the bar via bt and standard hdmi. in both cases, the tv senses the device, but no audio output. try via phone + bt again, and still no audio.
this bar lasted less than 1 month. what a joke (on me)!

Sound comparison function[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, it is difficult to feel a significant difference between sound coming from the TV speaker(previous sound) and sound coming from the Soundbar(new sound). It would be great if the Soundbar(or in combination with the TV) provide a "sound comparison function" to make the user feels the difference between the previous sound and the new sound.
Second, every user has his own sound he likes or feels comfortable with, thus it would be great if Soundbar(or in combination with the TV) provide an "equalizer function" to make the user adjusts the sound he likes most.

Are any HW600Bs Working?my review score is temporary and conditional, and i explain why below. when it worked, it worked great, but...
i bought and returned two units in less than a month because both failed soon after arriving, in precisely the same way. on setup, everything was great, including the sw9100s rear surrounds i bought.
days later, it stopped playing sound from any source, including optical and bluetooth.
every review here seems to say the same thing.
maybe it's terminally flawed firmware and that updating via usb before using it might address the issue, which seems to require a few hours of use before it happens.

So So until it died suddenly[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this mainly because it was the entry level model that included real Atmos processing, could clearly hear what Atmos was all about (thats a plus) but found the subwoofer to be underpowered. Had decided to keep but it suddenly died (would light up but no sound) apparently a not so uncommon complaint, so had to return.

Soundbar is Average. Not Spectacular.I bought the sound bar in November 2022 when I purchased a new 55" OLED Samsung TV. The two units paired easily enough. TV is great but I would have liked to have seen the sound bar be a little more immersive. The sound is flat, and the subwoofer is very low. I'm disappointed but stuck with my purchase.
If I had to do over again, I might have gone with Sonos or JBL (a little pricier) but a more satisfying sound experience.
