Rated 5 out of 5 by MDave from Excellent product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the hood or our Gas range (also from Samsung). We used the rear vent to connect to an external exhaust outlet. Even at the "low" speed setting it is quite powerful - with the external vent flap opening half-way. At the "high" speed setting it really packs (throws) a punch! Only feature that was not useful was the Bluetooth connectivity - apparently it is not compatible to all Samsung cooktops (even ones which have a Bluetooth/WiFi capability).

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jerry from Does not sync Samsung Smart range! the description of this product is very misleading. i was sold a samsung range with this hood and assured it was the most advanced range available (nx60t8751ss. only to find out after installation that it is not compatible with this hood. a samsung chat rep even confirmed their most advanced range is not compatible with this hood because it lacks bluetooth. what a joke. the website also says to check the manual for compatibility. no such list exists in the manual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mrmc7t from Awesome, but.... Range hood is awesome, but I have a small kitchen. Not big enough for a cooktop and ovens. So I got the drop in convection range. Needless to say, I did not know until installing it that it was not compatible with the range when hooking up wifi. I would only refer this product with the purchase of a cooktop. Why make a product that works with one item? That in itself doesn't make sense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by James from Poor Connectivity Technology I provide a review with this same subject line 3 days ago. I received prompt follow-up from the Samsung Customer Service. The feedback, however, is the root of the issue. 1) The Customer Service contact informed me that the two (hood and range) should connect. Their own organization does not even understand that they do not nor which ones properly connect and 2) I was asked to connect with SmartThings Customer Service to correct the issue. I already did that prior to my first review. They are the ones that let me know the items did not connect. Again, totally disappointed in a full kitchen suite, refrigerator, dishwasher, range and hood, where 3 of the items all connect via SmartThings app and one, even with Bluetooth, cannot. I stick by my original feedback. Poor execution of technology by Samsung.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ARayLSU from Nice range hood, but doesn't connect to new range The hood looks really nice and does a good job venting, even in recirculating mode. Only 4 stars though because it isn't compatible with my brand new Samsung NE58K9560WS induction range. It doesn't really have WiFi, it is "wifi enabled" through your Bluetooth and wifi enabled cooktop. Don't count on this feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DAVLIN from Great Product! we bought this unit in october 2019 for our portland, oregon condo. looks great, excellent build quality, the sound level is not loud and love the tones when you push buttons, very subtle not annoying at all! intallation was very easy. we just moved in july 2022 to atlanta, georgia. we are about to order the same unit again for our home we bought here. good job samsung.
