Rated 2 out of 5 by Frustrated62 from Disappointed In Refrigerator Temperature Control The temperature control on the refrigerator side of this product is poor. I have to set the desired temperature to 34 (the lowest it can be set) to get the interior of the refrigerator to 40. Products stored in the showcase door are usually at 43 or 44 degrees. This condition exists even when all doors have been closed for at least 12 hours. I have checked the interior temps with three different thermometers that I know to be accurate and get the same readings from all three. The temperature control on the freezer side works fine. I keep the energy saver feature of this product is always off due to the temperature problems. I would not recommend this product.

This fridge is not only beautiful, it is very functional and does an excellent job of keeping food cold. I used to own a huge fridge where everything in it couldn't help but get lost and old. Granted, big families will probably need huge fridges. But for a counter depth fridge, it sure holds a good amount of food. The drawers inside and in the door keeps everything organized. I can fit my long casserole glass pan on a shelf. We haven't had any problems with the ice maker or water dispenser. The water dispenser tray(less) tray is easy to clean. The whole design is great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by NeededQuickly from Counter Depth is a difficult to find and our old one just stopped working....so, I purchased this model because we needed a counter depth quickly. The showcase door is not something that we wanted, but are adjusting to having it. There is a problem with the adjustable slide/flip shelf in the refrigerator, service department is working with us to fix the problem. Some complain about the noise from the ice maker, we haven't experienced much more noise than our older refrigerator. I personally wanted to have white instead of stainless steel, so replacing other appliances are in our future. I just wish the door would hold magnets. We are enjoying our new appliance and would recommend this to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by pammysue from Icemaker does not work properly I purchased this for our vacation condo, I liked the design very much and not having chunky handles. However, the first time use the ice maker was all frosted up and would not work. We thought it was something about using the crushed verses cube ice. I cleaned out all the frost and waited and then used cubed ice. It worked a little bit but then started frosting up again. We had to leave so turned off the ice maker and then 3 weeks later came back and it is doing the same thing. Waiting for a service call to see what the problem is about. I don't believe this should be happening on a brand new and not cheap refrigerator.

FYI: After 2 1/2 years all three of the larger (9x14) bins have finally cracked completely across the bottom and can no longer hold any items in them. They started to crack on the left and right side where they attach to the door and then it extends completely across the bottom. There has been no unusual or abusive treatment. Just wanted you to know about this problem. Never had trouble with my 7 year old Whirlpool bins. It will cost $177.33 to replace them. Otherwise, I like the refrigerator. But am not looking forward to replacing the bins in another 2-3 years, if I am lucky and they still manufacture them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HomeCook from Quiet, looks great, versatile. The showcase door in this fridge takes some getting used to but once you (and your family) get the hang of it, it's wonderful. One complaint is that there are not enough shelves in the main fridge compartment and that they are not adjustable. This means that food items are precariously piled up on the shelves that are there. Fridge is also narrow inside; we knew that but didn't know just how narrow until I tried to put a lasagna pan inside and ended up hanging it by the pan handles on a shelf support. Fingerprints easily rub off with a rag. Importantly, since the fridge is right nest to our family room, you can't hear it running at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bashiradakku from Best looking side by side refrigerator in the market This has to be the best looking side-by-side refrigerator in the market. Beautiful and elegant design. If it was a car, I'd say it was a Audi. Love the door in the door feature. Kids can easily take out milk, juices etc. Some online reviewers had said that fridge had trouble maintaining temp levels in the fridge section. I have 3 young kids that are always opening the fridge and saw no issues with temp. Not that I tested scientifically. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. It looks nice, has a lot of space, nas has useful features. Only thing I'd like to see improved upon is to allow more customization in where to place bins etc inside.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ABeachy from Good but for a few things We've lived with our Samsung Food ShowCase for about 2 years and although we are happy with it, I have a few comments about the design. The full door (top handle opening both doors) is pretty heavy and really has to be yanked open even when the outer shelves aren't full. And the touch panel above the water & ice dispenser is very sensitive. You don't realize you've bumped into it until you notice it quit making ice. The reset instructions on it could be more intuitive. But what inspired me to review it is I've just pinched my finger between the fridge and freezer doors again. Not fun! If they were 1/4"closer or further apart that wouldn't happen.
