Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Operate, Solidly Built, and a Workhorse! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally installed this dishwasher in our kitchen a few weeks ago. We have since put it to the test with varying levels of washing including the 1 hour wash thru to the heavy duty wash (3 plus hours). So far, this dishwasher has done a remarkable job! All of the dishes have come out very clean and dry (except for on the 1 hour wash...the dishes are clean but partially wet and we have to finish drying the dishes by hand). I find this dishwasher to be as advertised, very quiet, and well built. To date, this Whirlpool dishwasher has surpassed our expectations and we are satisfied with the purchase and we look forward to many years of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this earlier this month. I smile every time think of it!! Very pretty, so quiet, spacious, awesome cleaner. I bought more of the Cascade Platinum Actionpacks like those that had been included with my appliance, also, to extend my enjoyment. Only "problem": I would have liked a couple of more small plastic tier pieces. What I did to solve that problem was to add two removable tier pieces from my just-replaced machine, and voila! Excellent machine now in every way! This considerably increased the versatility and capacity of my machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great except for the utensil racks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Whirlpool Dishwasher Model: WDT7030PAHB I installed this dishwasher a few months ago our 15 year old + Whirlpool dishwasher had just worn out due to being used many times. We decided to purchase another Whirlpool dishwasher. This Whirlpool Dishwasher Model: WDT7030PAHB has been good at cleaning the dishes and utensils. We thought that 1 hour of 3 hour choices for time needed a 2 hour setting. We found the 2 utensils’ racks to be a bit more demanding than we need as each spoon fork etc. had to be placed in a slot so they would be separated for better cleaning not laying next to each other like our older model dishwasher. We tried removing one of the tops on one of the utensil racks so our tongs and other cooking tools could fit in the rack but they had too large of a space and the divider did not come to the top of the rack and items would more or less be able to lay on each other not getting clean all the time. We still had our old utensil rack from our last dish washer and put it on the left side of the new dish washer and found it fit and works just as well as it had in our old dishwasher. Our old rack had divisions it in that were taller and held items more straight up and down for better washing. We like the new model as well as the old but prefer the old utensil rack over the new more engineered design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine; however I've had my Whirlpool dishwasher for several years, and I have no complaints about its function or dependability. My one complaint, however, is the utensil holder. I can only put small spoons using the back slots, and steak knives if I point them down on the front row...the other two rows are useless. And, for all designated compartments, the silverware can't stand... they wind up lying sideways, and sometimes they fall completely to the bottom of the basket. I've suffered a long time, but being under virus "house arrest," I now have the time to write! I'm hoping there is a solution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from “Heated dry” doesn’t work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn’t buy it again. The most energy- and water-saving cycle takes 3+ hours, mostly because it soaks rather than spraying new water the entire time — fine by me. BUT, the “heated dry” at the end of the cycle never works. I wake up, open the dishwasher to get my coffee mug, and it is always still wet! This got very annoying, so we now use the “1 Hour” wash cycle (much less energy-efficient and uses more water) without a dry cycle, then open the dishwasher before bed so it can air dry overnight. Not being able to use the full functionality of the dishwasher is disappointing. However, 5 months of daily use and I haven’t had any other problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and Washes Thoroughly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited a month to write a review so I could thoroughly try it out. It is the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever had and it cleans the best on high temp and high scrubbing settings. It has the longest wash cycle of any dishwasher, too! Nearly 4 hours?!? But I read the booklet that explains the efficacy and efficiency of this type of cycle. It also has a one hour cycle, fan dry and several features I have not yet explored. It looks fabulous and the racks work well with good configuration. I am enjoying this dishwasher now and hope it will fully earn it’s five star rating by lasting many years, as a couple of other dishwashers I’ve owned have lasted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher was installed last week and seems to clean pretty well. The front door isn't laying flat (bottom drawer keeps rolling back even when loaded), so installers are coming back to look at it. Hoping it's just an install issue. I love the layout of the inside, lots of room. However, I wish it had a top basket like my old one (I never realized how much I used it, I wonder if Whirlpool sells an attachment for it?) Overall, very happy with the dishwasher...will love it once installers make front door lay flat! For the price, great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly clean and quiet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I was doing a fine job washing dishes by hand after my old dishwasher gave out. But when I ran my new Whirlpool for the first time I was really struck with how much cleaner the dishes were. The glassware sparkled - no cloudy residue like from my old dishwasher. It took me a while to get used to the silverware trays but the slotted covers that keep the spoons, knives and forks separated has meant no more re-washing utensils when emptying the dishwasher. And it is very quiet in our country kitchen where we spend most of our time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The dishes actually come out dry! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this dishwasher for about a month and I’m so happy with it! With our previous dishwasher I had to pre-wash everything and then put most of the dishes on the counter to dry after they were washed. Now I load the dishes without pre-washing and they come out truly, shiny clean and DRY!!! Oh, and you can’t even hear the thing running; it’s super quiet. I am very impressed with this dishwasher, just mad at myself for dragging my feet so long to buy a new one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost 5 stars [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dishwasher for about a month. While it isn't the most quiet, it definitely does the important things - the dishes get clean and they come out dry. Unlike many dishwashers that leave dishes wet (especially plastics), this dishwasher does a good job of drying everything from glass to silverware to plastics. The top rack seems a little wonky and that's why I gave this one 4 stars instead of 5. For the money, it really is a pretty good dishwasher.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost great with one major issue [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this dishwasher works well for this price point. It is quiet and it cleans and dries dishes well. There is, however, one feature that I thought would be an excellent perk but has since nearly caused me to try to fight for a refund: the adjustable upper rack. It has two positions. We need to put it in the high position because the sprayer on the bottom of the upper rack was hitting our plates during the wash cycle. However, when in the upper position, YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE UPPER RACK without reaching in and adjusting the sprayer in the top of the dishwasher. It hits the wire on the back of the rack every time and is extremely frustrating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made in the USA [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my new dishwasher. My "Old Faithful" dishwasher was a Mothers day gift from my sons in the 1980's. It served us well but was very very noisy. This is very quiet and has a small circle of light showing the dishwasher is on. It, however, the way it is set up inside, some items are better washed by hand saving room to get more items in the dishwasher that fit better, Overall the dishwasher does a good job washing the dishes instead of me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly quiet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned for about 2 months now. I really like how quiet the machine is. I saw that as one of the features and so the more expensive brands were even quieter but for the price I like this one. A full cycle takes about 3.5 hrs to complete. I feel like that is a little long and can't possibly be energy efficient, but I don't know how that compares to others. It does have the one hour wash but that doesn't dry the dishes. All and all great machine would recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Confused... We decided to go with this dishwasher after reading all the reviews in here but now we’re second guessing out decision. This dishwasher is not quiet AT ALL! This is a replacement for one that is almost 15yrs old and our old one it’s a lot quieter than this one! Also, we ran the cycle twice using the heated dry option and only some dishes were completely dry, the inside of the machine was still dripping water when the cycle was finished. Something is not right with this dishwasher at all. Only 3 stars so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from On the whole a great purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how quiet it is, don't realize that it's running. It does a great job cleaning but as with most dishwashers the drying leaves something to be desired. We usually run it in the evening and in the morning there is still some moisture inside and on top of items. I installed the washer myself and unfortunately the adapter for the water inlet was not supplied and the adapter from the old washer wouldn't fit. The adapter was inexpensive but meant an extra trip to the store. For the price I believe it should have been supplied with the washer as they know you're going to need it. These couple of things aside, We are happy with the purchase and price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Default Purchase [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was forced to buy a dishwasher during the recent supply chain problems and had to settle for what was available. I purchased a Whirlpool because I had heard they were reasonably priced and reliable. It was reasonably priced compared to others that were available, although not the cheapest. I have had it almost three months, and I am not overly happy with it. It is sometimes difficult to start, and it always leave the load wet, even when I use the three hour cycle with the extra dry time. One positive is that it is very roomy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets my dishes clean! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this dishwasher for a couple of months. It works well and looks good. I gave 4 stars because I don’t love the top controls on the door. It makes it difficult to push start. But it’s not a huge deal, just annoying. I also wish the set up of the shelves were divided better for holding different size plates, cups, dishes, etc. But it works ok. If it’s anything like the ones I have had in the past it will only last a few years anyway. And I’ll avoid those features next time. Overall, I’m happy with it! Good value for the cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good, but... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've moved into a new home that has brand new Whirlpool appliances and they look very nice and seem to be working out well so far. There is one small thing broken in our dishwasher, however. I'm not sure if it got broken in transit or during installation, but there is a small, blue plastic piece in the bottom rack, on the left side; a small piece of it broke off and now the rear-most "prongs" won't sit upright, only lay down. I tried finding a replacement part for it in our manual with no luck - any chance we could obtain one?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Very Nice Dishwasher [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace old dishwasher at 15 years. Wanted one with great features that didn't break the bank. Most important was the noise level. This dishwasher is GREAT! It holds tons of dishes, the cycles are very useful, and it is SUPER QUIET! I can't even tell it is running when standing right next to it. Another thing that I love is that it has multiple water jet/spinners. On three different levels, not just one like old generation dishwasher. Dishes come out VERY clean! I an VERY HAPPY! Installed it myself, too, which was very easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had another brand that was only a few years old, but even since day one the other one wouldn't clean our dishes that well. We would prewash our dishes first before the dishwasher, basically rendering it useless. Once we bought this dishwasher, he haven't prewashed or done anything, and our dishes or spotless. Love this disheasher

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dishwasher, racks not so much! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a good dishwasher, it runs quietly and cleans the dishes. The manufacturer brags of handling 12 to 15 place settings in this machine, if that is what you're doing you'll love this machine. However, what I want to clean is the things I use in preparation of the meal, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, pots and pans. The racks in this machine is almost useless for my purpose. Smartly I saved the racks from my old Kenmore, which fits perfectly in this dishwasher, so I can do a load of pots and pans with great results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well, But Not Perfect [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used for a month since purchase and am very satisfied with the ability to put dirty dishes in and get clean dishes out. Also happy with the Air Dry feauture. I use overnight, so the standard 3 hour clean is what I use. Minor issues include being careful with dirty dishes towards the front of the loader not getting all the dirt off and being careful with cups and containers that have indents on their bottom holding water after wash/dry is done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have though the years bought many Whirlpool appliances and this dishwasher is disappointing. The utensils baskets are small and not well designed. The racks for the dishes are also disappointing. I had to discontinue to use certain plates because the rack is unable to hold them up for washing. My 20 year old GE had better features. I will say that it is surprisingly quite and seems to do a good job of washing the dishes you are able to load.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’m so happy with this dishwasher [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher online based on the features and the slick design. I’m always a little reluctant to buy items online sight unseen but I was pleasantly surprised that it was as beautiful as the pictures online. This dishwasher is very quiet especially compared to the dishwasher I had before. I was a little confused at first when the dishes wouldn’t dry ( my former dishwasher didn’t require a rinse aid) but after reading the instructions I used the rinse aid as directed and I had dry clean dishes with no water spots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet and Smart Looking Whirlpool Dishwasher! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model Whirlpool Dishwasher (WDT730) a few weeks ago. After shopping in store (Lowes), we decided it was a good buy because of: 1) the Whirlpool name, 2) the low noise decibel rating, 3) no fingerprints on the front door of the store model given it was probably handled by 10’s of people, and 4) it was on sale! We are very satisfied with its performance in the short time we’ve had it and especially enjoy the “1 hour” feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very quiet but [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dish washer 6 weeks ago and would rate it as good. It is very quiet, but that comes at the expense of lower wash pressure and longer run times. I find that I must be very careful how I position dishes and not to overload the washer or some items will not come clean. At least for our dishes the baskets seem a little difficult to load dishes, especially the smaller ones. I spite of the air flow drying system the tops of glasses and silverware baskets are wet even after using heated fan dry and heated hot wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best washer I’ve ever owned!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband surprised me with my dishwasher after a few months of the old one(differs brand) slowly dying. The first load surprised me. It’s so quiet!! I love that I don’t have to yell over it to be heard. When it finished the dishes were spotless and dry. No nasty spots, water to dump, or grabbing a dish towel. My glasses were spotless! It’s only gotten better, as I discover more settings and changes I can make. The top rack adjustability is amazing and makes cleaning all the tumblers, in my house, a snap!! Love love love!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleans dishes thoroughly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this awhile ago and I absolutely love it. I have no complaints. There are a lot of different settings and I haven’t messed with them all yet but the setting I have on normally does not fully dry the dishes all the way so I open the door to let them air dry for a little. It may be user error though! Other then that, I love this dishwasher and would buy again. This washer is quiet too and has a sleek design, appealing to the eye!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awful dishwasher. I’ve had it for 3 weeks now and each wash cycle leaves a film on my dishes and they never get dry. They are always wet even if I use the drying cycle. They never get dry. Big disappointment. And the inside is all plastic! The racks don’t seem like they will last very long. Wish I would have bought a different brand. I only went with this one because it was the only one the store had in stock at the time.
