The reason I got the freezer on the bottom, is because the refrigerator is opened so much more, and is easier to see the food at my eye level. I love the pull out basket for the freezer. It keeps frozen foods that come in bags from falling all over the place. I love that I can rearrange the refrigerator shelving units to accommodate taller or smaller items. The refrigerator fit perfectly into the space that I had available. The lighting in both freezer and refrigerator is very good. The see-thru drawers are great. I had my last refrigerator for 25 years, I hope this one lasts that long!

It's been emitting a musty smell for the past 2 days and has stopped running. It will only run when the door is open but as soon as you shut the door, it stops! I have read through the manual to be sure we were doing everything correctly with our installation (which we were). I've had to move everything from the freezer and find another fridge because all of our food was about to spoil. Not happy with this product AT ALL!!! Also, there is nothing smudge proof about this stainless steel! Constantly trying to wipe away fingerprints.

It’s solved our family arguments over who put what, where and frustrating issues of not finding something or buying things we already have because we couldn’t locate them, etc. I , being a short person, no longer have to grovel on my hands and knees to prepare meals or to put the groceries away. My husband, the tall one, needn’t turn upside down to get refrigerated items. The door shelves provide more storage than our old fridge even though the cubic foot space is the same. And, it’s such a handsome appliance.

The noise seems to be when it's changing a cycle. I mean you can hear this noise two rooms away. Never have I heard a refrigerator as loud as this and I am a senior citizen. I expect, while listening to this noise, something is about ready to break and I am purchasing yet another refrigerator. While this noise definately gets everyone's attention that is my only complaint but, make no mistake, it is a big one. If there are any Whirpool techs. out there reading this I would love to get a response. Fix the noise and I would recommend this refrigerator/

It's everything we thought it would be. I can hear running but it doesn't seem overly loud to us. It seems to be missing the little white button to hide the one hole for the handle, but I can live with that. I still might move things around. There doesn't seem to be room for a carton of eggs in door, but maybe that's because I have milk and liquids in this area. Again, all things I can live with. I'm anxious to see how much electricity we're saving as compared to our 32 year old Hotpoint that finally went out and had the seals gone for years.

We did have to remove the doors before the installation so it would fit through the kitchen pocket door. We truly appreciate the convenience of having the refrigerator on the top because we are all taller and is much easier to access foods. The only minor problem we had was the fruit/vegetable crisper plastic knob (for low/high humidity) on one of the drawers broke off. When we called to have it repaired they came out very quickly and needed to order a replacement part. Otherwise, we are all very satisfied with this product.

The original worked fine, it just killed my back with the freezer on the top! I had to sit on a chair to see what was on the bottom since it was almost on the ground. I love the freezer on the bottom and having the items I use daily up higher for easier access. It's not a high-end model with lots of bells and whistles, but that wasn't my goal. My space is small and this fits it perfectly. I'm very happy with this bottom freezer model.

The interior lighting is great and the clear shelving and drawers make everything easy to see at a glance. This is my first stainless steel fridge, and despite having heard people complain about how hard they are to keep clean, I think this is easier to clean my previous fridge from the 90's. Finger smudges are hard to see unless well-lit, and they wipe up easy using a soft towel and a small amount of furniture polish. Coming from an all black side-by-side, this immediately became a statement piece in small home kitchen. Very impressive.
