I wanted a bottom freezer type and I liked the idea of French doors. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the fridge is designed. I can put a lot of food in there and everything is quite easily accessible (no more losing leftovers at the back of the fridge!). And I have to say that my produce has been keeping fresher for longer. I used to have to eat fresh vegetables within a few days of purchase with my old fridge. I had cauliflower last well over a week with this new fridge! The only complaint I have is that it is quite loud, but I have gotten used to it. Overall, I feel it was a good purchase.

I bought this refrigerator thinking it would be a high quality and well built product, but I was extremely disappointed. This unit is louder than my old refrigerator, and I hear it working around 60% of the time while my older one was triggering a few times per day. Don't put too much room-temperature food in it, or it will work non-stop between the fans and compressor for hours trying to get the correct temperature. Whirlpool claim these newest compressors work more often but reduce energy consumption, it is certainly not worth it unless you always have music in your home to cover the noise. I admit it does looks good, and the temperature is correct. Also, the bottom drawer is not practical. It is not high enough so you will barely put anything in it, and because it takes place, you might want to remove one of the shelves because you may never put anything high.

Even though the exterior diemensions match the old fridge there is less space inside on account of thicker walls. This comes with the benefit of much lower energy use so it's a trade-off. The freezer drawers are well-designed and very functional as well. We are struggling with the lack of space however. We find it much harder to store leftovers until they are eaten and the layout of the fridge makes it very difficult to store tall items like milk jugs, orange juice, water jugs, and tall sauce bottles. That, more than anything else is something I would like Whirlpool to look at improving.

I chose this Whirlpool because it has the fewest negative reviews compare to other brands. I like the look of it and interior design also looks good. The only drawback is it appears to be more noisy than my old fridge when the compressor runs. The noise is loud enough to be noticeable. That said, I saw other reviews of other brands also complain loud noise so I’m not sure noisy is typical for fridge nowadays.

This is not only a great looking fridge, it is awesome, We needed a smaller fridge for our little kitchen and decided to go for this model. We were shocked to realize that it is very deep and it fits a ton of things. They way it is organized inside allows for a lot of flexibility. The bottom freezes is so very spacious too. Also, it is not very noisy.

The seal on the freezer drawer is rather thin, and left a space between the drawer and the body of the fridge, causing frost to build up in the freezer section. The technician fixed it. The crisper drawers seem very flimsy, and both doors need to be open to access the one on the left. Poor design I think. Glad I purchased the extended warranty.

Immediately after a week of observation we've decided to return it due to ongoing static sounds. We picked Whirpool fridge to replace it. This fridge is highly recommendable. Overall performance of the fridge aside from the features is very good!

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that there is not very much room for taller items and I always seem to have to shuffle things around to make room. Find that the lower drawer is rather useless. Just wish there was ways to adjust shelves more. Freezer is a dream!
