Disappointed in a major feature

Hi there,I bought this new oven,and I am pleased with the appearance,the top burners and controls,the oven itself,and I like the big glass to see into oven,instead of the old small ones.The thing that I do not like,is the self clean oven.I realize that the cleaning time ,is way reduced nthe usual 4 hours,to about 20 -40 minutes.But,what I did not know,until I went to clean it the first day I used it.I had used the air fryer,and obviously the grease got all over the oven.When I read the instructions,on cleaning,I had to add water,and when it finished,I had to scrub it,and then soak up the water.And it did not come as clean,as my old fashioned self clean.I was quite disappointed in that feature.Maybe I am doing something wrong,when cleaning,if so ,let me know please.

1. One of the cook top knobs is loose at the controller
2. The bottom tray is lower on one side.

Long on Features and Looks
4 week owner but I am very pleased so far. Good Looks and features. There is a learning curve when switching from a 27 year old 'drop in'. I like the oven temp readout - nice and precise.... Looks good along with our other Whirlpool appliances.
